Facilities

Davies and Brook - restaurant

Blending British seasonality and global inspiration – with a few surprises along the way – Daniel Humm’s Michelin-starred food leaves a lasting memory. Mirroring the menus, the setting is relaxed yet refined with artwork by American artist Roni Horn, commissioned just for Davies and Brook. And at the heart of it all is the bar; a buzzing spot for cocktails and small plates, drinks on the terrace or simply to soak up the Davies and Brook spirit.

The Foyer & Reading Room - restaurant

For many visitors to Claridge’s, the Foyer is the first thing that captures their imagination. In the centre of the room a striking Chihuly sculpture hangs like a chandelier. The walls shimmer with original art deco mirrors. Music drifts from the grand piano. It is here that breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea are served, as well as our inventive twists on classic cocktails.

In the Reading Room, the banquettes create a more intimate dining experience. With intuitive service and a menu of classic and contemporary cuisine, you ...

Claridge's Bar - bar

Champagnes and cocktails, served in style. There is nowhere quite like Claridge’s Bar. To complement David Collins’s art deco-influenced interior, the bar offers an extensive collection of drinks – from rare champagnes to sought-after spirits. Enjoy them as they are, or ask your bartender to mix up a cocktail.

The Fumoir - bar

Discreetly tucked away in Claridge’s art deco interior, The Fumoir is where those in the know have enjoyed a quiet drink since 1929.

By day, sip a cappuccino and nibble on macaroons. Come by for pre-theatre drinks such as a signature Claridge’s Julep. Or drop in for a vodka martini nightcap, perfectly mixed and served in an ice-chilled glass. As William Klein portraits gaze down moodily from the walls, this is a place to settle in and relish the moment.

Afternoon Tea - afternoon-tea

Afternoon Tea
It is said that Anna Russell, 7th Duchess of Bedford, invented Afternoon Tea in 1840. This was to satisfy her peckishness during the long wait between lunch and dinner.

Prepared and served fresh each day, the menu faithfully follows the traditional combination of sweet and savoury. The ingredients include British specialities such as poached Scottish salmon – and pastries change to reflect the fruits of the season. Of course, at the heart of the experience is the drink itself. From a rich Oolong to the re...

Empress Eugenie Suite

Palatial in style, this suite bears all the hallmarks of Claridge’s royal heritage.

Interweaving Art Deco design with French flair, it pays homage to Empress Eugenie of France who entertained Queen Victoria in her ‘winter quarters’ at Claridge’s. Embellishments trace back to fabrics and finery favoured by the British monarch – delicate silks alongside embroidered brocade, velvet and tasselled detailing. Whether you wish to entertain guests or simply relax, a peaceful palette of pinks and greys with antique gold patina set a courtly scene.

Grand Piano Suite

Fashion may be fleeting, but true style endures. The Grand Piano Suite is testament to this, created for Claridge’s by couturier – and friend of the hotel – Diane von Furstenberg.

Her inimitable style is woven into the space, from signature materials such as velvet and silk, to the iconic silhouettes that influence each detail. Step into instant calm, with a peaceful palette of turquoise and blush tones, cut through with layered textures, gold accents and occasional splashes of colour. In the master bedroom through to the palatial living room and library, where the Grand Piano stands, a harmonious mix of vintage pieces and contemporary furnishings reflect Diane’s timeless style. While curated artwork is inspired both by her own collections and most recent collaboration with Claridge’s – the Tree of Love, from Christmas 2018.
