Itinerary

Day 1

London to Kolkata

Upon arrival in Kolkata you will be transferred to The Oberoi Grand for a 3 night stay. A vibrant city with a distinct socio-political culture, Kolkata offers plenty for you to see and do.

Day 2

In Kolkata

Begin your tour of this vibrant city with a visit to the Jain Temple also known as the '€˜Jewel Box Temple of Calcutta'€™, followed by a visit to the magnificent Marble Palace and Mother House, founded by Mother Teresa.

Day 3

In Kolkata

Today'€™s visit of the city includes the Howrah Bridge over the Hooghly River, Victoria Memorial holding numerous paintings of the British Royal Family and Dalhousie Square, which has been declared as one of the world'€™s one hundred most endangered sites.

Day 4

Kolkata to Darjeeling

Today you will return to Kolkata Airport for your flight to Bagdogra where upon arrival you will be transferred by road to Glenburn Tea Estate for a 4 night stay. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure to relax and enjoy this beautiful place.

Day 5

In Darjeeling

Enjoy a full day excursion to Darjeeling, which stands at 6,000 feet with the magnificent Mount Kanchenjunga as a backdrop. Visit the Zoo, famous for its snow leopards and red pandas, the Botanical Gardens, Ghoom Monastery and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.

Day 6

In Darjeeling

The next few days are at leisure to relax or to enjoy the various activities offered by Glenburn, including a visit to Darjeeling town and a tour of the Tea Factory or trip to Kalimpong town. Enjoy a wealth of outdoor pursuits, such as fishing, hiking and trekking or learn new cookery skills.

Day 8

Darjeeling to Kolkata

In the morning you will be collected from your hotel and driven to Bagdogra Airport for your flight back to Kolkata. Upon arrival you will be transferred to The Oberoi Grand for an overnight stay.

Day 9

Kolkata to London

Following breakfast at the hotel you will be transferred to Kolkata Airport for your flight to London.
