After breakfast meet your private transportation for a 10 minute transfer to the helipad (included). A helicopter will be waiting for you for the Giants of Planet Earth Experience. Spinner Dolphin Mega Pod Tour

Approximate Duration: 2-4 hours

What To Bring: confortable clothes, long pants, closed shoes, sunscreen and insect repellent.

The Spinner Dolphin Mega Pod Tour experience starts after a 45 minute private ground transfer to the Daniel Oduber International Airport (included). A plane will bring you after a 1 hour flight to Drake Bay on the Pacific Coast. Considered to be one of the most cetacean-rich areas in the world, the marine life here is abundant with pods of pan-tropic spotted, bottlenose, spinner and common dolphins as well as humpback, pilot, sperm and blue whales, giant manta rays, sea turtles and more. Through this vast, borderless, open-ocean ecosystem swim huge pods of spinner dolphins. They live here within sight of Corcovado National Park and Caño Island Biological Reserve in unprotected waters. They gather in startling numbers in a tiny piece of Open Ocean to greet you with an acrobatic performance.

Mark Twain wrote about these beautiful free spirits, and scientists have been studying them for years. Imagine the sunlight falling in shifting, laser-like rays through crystalline blue waters while hundreds of dolphins breach out 9 feet in the air, twisting their body into curves or spins up to 7 times in a single leap! Feeling adventurous? Jump in and swim along with wild
dolphins in their natural habitat!

Memories made here are unforgettable for the rest of your life. Search planes, luxury vessels, biologists and expert marine guides are also part of this fantastic experience. Lunch is included.

During the flight, enjoy the views of Liberia City, Rincón de la Vieja and Miravalles Volcanoes and the country side.

Located in Miravalles at the Province of Guanacaste, Rio Perdido Hotel & Thermal River is a sanctuary of well-being and nature. The resort was designed to be in perfect harmony with the surroundings, without neglecting comfort and luxury. The property offers zip-lines, hiking, cycling and tubing.

Upon arrival to Mesa Norte, three 4x4 luxury vehicles will be waiting to transfer you to the Río Perdido main building. This exciting transfer runs along a 3.5 kilometer bumpy road on the the Rio Perdido property (approximately 15 minutes) where you will enjoy scenic views of the area’s landscapes and volcanic rock formations.

After a short 3 minute walk, expert guides with equipment will be waiting to help and bring you to the Canyon where the adventure starts.

The Canyon Adventure at Río Perdido is truly innovative. Under the guidance of renowned adventure designers who created the sequence, you will venture over the inspiring Rio Blanco Canyon which includes 15 platforms; 6 of them are rock-based and 9 are suspended on the canyon walls. Experience a pendulum cable, a 15- meter "Tarzan swing", a 27-meter challenge bridge, 4 via ferratas with lengths varying from 5 to nearly 15 meters, and 5 zip-lines with lengths varying from 73 to 80 meters. A water station is located in the middle of the circuit.

After this amazing experience, board a 4x4 vehicle that will bring you to the Blanco River. After instructions, enjoy a fun 40 minute white water tubing experience. Not only will you get very wet, but you will also experience something very magical! There are parts of the canyon where the rock walls narrow, the daylight is scarce, and any echoes made grow louder. If you remain quiet for some time, you will find out that you are not alone; birds, monkeys and on occasion some larger mammals, will announce their presence. Make sure to look for the hot water spouts along the eastern rock walls.

Please take note that this activity is not suitable for everyone as there is always a chance of making contact with some of the exposed rocks.

After all these memorable experiences you will be transferred back to the the Four Seasons Resort.
