Day 3
Excursion starts:
The day’s focus is on New York’s inside art world beginning with an exclusive tour where you will be given access and audience with the personalities and talent that comprise the Chelsea Arts Scene. Your introduction to the up and coming artists, gallerists, and curators who create spectacles, works of art, and experiences will give you unparalleled access into this oft off limits world. The highlight is meeting a top, established New York artist in their studio.
The afternoon is yours to explore or rest before your evening of Broadway behind-the-scenes. Attending a long running Broadway hit is a delight in itself, however your experience will take you a step beyond with a private discussion and drink with a Broadway cast member at Sardi’s, the famed Broadway hangout. Before the curtain calls, there will be time to enjoy a cocktail or light bite and as best seats in the house can be arranged (tickets not included). Concluding the show or encore, you will again be escorted to the stage door and receive an all-access backstage tour. Before the show, after, the show, and during the show, you will have access and a unique understanding of the intricacies of the staging, nuances of the acting, and appreciation for the final production.
