This is a 10-day gourmet trip to Portugal for foodies. Besides indulging in high quality foods, tasting amazing Portuguese wine and olive oil, you will also visit Lisbon, Sintra, Evora, Vila Real, Porto and Douro Valley.

You can choose your preferred accommodation for each destination in Portugal from our exclusive luxury hotel collection.

Itinerary

Day 1

Pick up in Lisbon (airport or designated place) and transfer to the chosen Hotel, in a luxury vehicle equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, freshwater and refreshing towels.

Check in at the hotel, free time to lunch and relax from the journey.

Sightseeing tour in Lisbon in a luxury vehicle, in which you will discover some of the most emblematic quarters, passing by St. George's Castle, Alfama, Downtown Pombalina, Chiado, Belém - you will save some time to taste the typical Belém custard tarts.

If the weather allows it, you will go on a boat ride at the end of the afternoon, in which you will contemplate the banks of the Tagus river while relaxing and tasting some of the region's wines and delicacies.

Time for some rest before dinner at the Alma restaurant, a degustation menu by Chef Henrique Sá Pessoa, paired with Portuguese wines.

Return to the Hotel in a luxury vehicle.

Day 2

Today you will enjoy a sightseeing tour which includes a visit to Sintra, its historical town Centre, the Pena Palace and the Castle of the Moors, before heading out to Cascais and the Roca Cape, where you will have lunch by the sea. You will return to Lisbon making the Estoril route and follow the sea road to contemplate its beaches.

Time for some rest before leaving to dine at the Loco Restaurant, a degustation menu by Chef Alexandre Silva, paired with Portuguese wines.

Return to the Hotel in a luxury vehicle.

Day 3

This day you will enjoy a sightseeing tour to the Setúbal Peninsula, where you will stop at the Palmela Castle, Arrábida Mountain, before making way to Azeitão.

In Azeitão, you will visit the José Maria da Fonseca House Museum, dating back from the 19th century, where besides the famous Periquita, some of the best Setúbal Muscatel wines rest, some of them with over 100 years old. Tastings and lunch are included.

Still in Azeitão, you will visit the Bacalhôa Estate Palace, with over 500 years old and previous property of the Portuguese Royal House, today classified as National Monument. Here, besides the visit to the Palace, you will taste some of the region's best wines, while contemplating the Arrábida Natural Park.

You will now return to Lisbon and have a short rest before dinner at the Belcanto Restaurant, a degustation menu by Chef José Avillez, paired with Portuguese wines.

Day 4

Today, after breakfast, you will go to Alentejo region.

You head out towards Évora, stopping in Montemor-o-Novo, to visit the L'And, wine property in the upper Alentejo, wine hotel and 1 Michelin Star restaurant.

Wine experience at the property, followed by lunch at the restaurant - Menu do Chef - with menu signed by the Chef Miguel Laffan.

Then you will head south with new stop at Monte da Ravasqueira, where not only you will visit one of the most beautiful chariot collections in the country, but also have the opportunity to get to know this magnificent property and taste some of its best wines.

Then it is non stop journey to Évora, where you will stay in an emblematic hotel.

Day 5

Today you will have a stroll around Évora, which historic centre was declared in 1986 as the World Heritage by UNESCO, with time to visit some of the city's main symbols: The Cathedral, the museum, the library, the Roman temple, the Cadaval Dukes Palace... but also some less popular, which are kept in secret!

For lunch you will go to the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation wine cellar. Regional food with a modern twist, paired with wines of the Adega Cartuxa, among them the famous “Pêra-Manca”.

After lunch, you will visit the Adega Cartuxa. Here you will slowly browse the property, get to know its history and taste its wines and olive oils.

Then you will head towards Reguengos de Monsaraz, for a new stop. Here, you will visit the Esporão Estate, its vineyards, orchards, archaeological complex, the combinations are countless. You will have some time to taste some of the best Alentejo's wines produced here, as well as some regional delicacies.

Return to the hotel, where you will have dinner at the Divinus restaurant - a menu signed by the Chef Hugo Silva.

Day 6

Today you will travel to Porto.

On the way to Porto, the first stop will be in Cadaval, where you will visit the Gradil Estate, one of the oldest and most emblematic of the region that was once property of the Pombal Marquis. There, besides the visit with the enologist for a guided tour to the property and its wines, you will have lunch - degustation menu by Chef Daniel Sequeira.

Then you will continue your trip to Porto with no further due where you will arrive at the end of the afternoon. Checking in the hotel and brief break before dinner at the Antiqvvm Restaurant, with a degustation menu by Chef Vitor Matos, paired with Portuguese wines.

Return to the hotel in Porto.

Day 7

Today, enjoy a sightseeing tour through Porto, in a luxury vehicle, equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, freshwater and refreshing towels, passing by the city's main points of historical, architectural and cultural interest.

Lunch at a premium Porto restaurant.

Exclusive visit to a Port wine cellar, where you will learn the production process of this unique nectar. Commented tasting will allow everyone to make questions. You will have lunch at the Wine Restaurant, next to the casks room.

2-hour boat ride with departure from the Douro Marina to discover Porto, its bridges and historical landscapes.

Time to rest before dinner at The Yeatman Hotel Gastronomic Restaurant, a degustation menu by Chef Ricardo Costa and paired with Portuguese wines.

Return to the hotel in a luxury vehicle.

Day 8

Today you will drive towards the city of Vila Real, in a luxury vehicle, equipped with Wi-Fi, freshwater and refreshing towels.

Guided tour of the Casa de Mateus, an old manor built in the 18th century by the famous architect Nicolau Nasoni, and one of the most beautiful representatives of the baroque period in Portugal. You will visit for just over 1 hour the main house, the gardens, the chapel finishing in the cellar where you will taste some of the region's wines.

Stop in Bisalhães, a place where the black pottery is made, a process deemed Immaterial Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

Lunch at the Cais da Villa Restaurant, a degustation menu by the Chef Daniel Gomes, paired with Douro wines.

Exclusive visit to a wine production estate, with a visit to the vineyard, cellar and presses, where you will learn about the winemaking process of the Port and Douro wines.

Rest break and check in at the hotel.

Pick up at the hotel - at the agreed time (8.00 p.m.), the guide will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the restaurant where you will dine.

Dinner at the DOC Restaurant, a degustation menu by Chef Rui Paula and paired with Douro wines.

Return to the Hotel in a luxury vehicle.

Day 9

Pick up at the hotel on the agreed schedule (9:30), the guide will pick you up and show you to the vehicle where you will make the tour.

Sightseeing tour, where youare invited to journey the Douro valley amongst its viewpoints and places of interest.

Visit to the Pinhão train station, dating back from 1880 and entirely decorated with traditional tiles that picture the region's culture and tradition.

Short train ride between the stations of Pinhão and Ferrão.

Exclusive visit to a wine production estate, with visit to the vineyard, cellar and presses, where you will learn about the winemaking process of the Port and Douro wines.

1-hour boat ride returning to Pinhão.

Exclusive visit to an olive oil press, with visit to the museum where you will learn about the oil production process.

Return to the hotel in a luxury vehicle to refresh and get some rest.

Pick up at the hotel - at the agreed time (8.00 p.m.), your guide will pick you up and take you to the restaurant.

The last dinner in Portugal, at a Douro traditional restaurant, gastronomic menu with a modern twist paired with Douro wines.

Day 10

Today you will be taken from the hotel and brought to Porto or Lisbon airport, or any other designated destination.

End of the trip!
