London to Colombo
You will be met on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to The Wallawwa in Negombo for an overnight stay. The remainder of the day is free to spend at your leisure.

You will be met on arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport and transferred to The Wallawwa in Negombo for an overnight stay. The remainder of the day is free to spend at your leisure.
Today you will be driven to Anuradhapura, where you will stay for 3 nights at Ulagalla by Uga Escapes. Along the way you will visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to the world's largest number of captive elephants, ranging from newborns to elderly matriarchs.
Begin the day with a visit to Mihintale. This mountain peak is believed to be the site where Buddhism was first introduced into Sri Lanka. Later in the day you will be taken on a tour of the ancient city of Anuradhapura, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After breakfast you will be driven to the spectacular 5th century Sigiriya Rock fortress, where you will enjoy amazing views at the top. From here you will be transferred to the ruined capital of Polonnaruwa, where magnificent Buddha statues carved out of sheer rock offer a snapshot of medieval Sri Lanka.
Today you will be collected from the hotel and driven to Kandy, where you will stay for 2 nights at Kandy House. En route you will visit Dambulla Rock Temple, followed by a stop at Matale to explore a local spice garden.
Spend the day sightseeing with a tour of Kandy, visiting the Temple of the Tooth Relic and catching a panoramic view of the town from Upper Lake Drive. In the evening you will experience a Kandyan Dance performance with a spectacular fire-walking finale.
This morning you will be transferred to Hatton, journeying through winding roads and scenic valleys and calling at the quaint old town Nuwara Eliya, before arriving at Ceylon Tea Trails for your 2 night stay.
Spend the day at leisure enjoying the cooler climate and milder temperatures of the hills. There is also the option of visiting a tea plantation and factory, or perhaps going canoeing in Castlereigh.
After breakfast you will travel to Yala, where you will spend 2 nights at Cinnamon Wild Yala. En route you will proceed to Udawalawe to visit the Ath Athuru Sevena, an elephant transit home that cares for abandoned baby elephants before releasing them back into the wild.
Begin the day with a visit to the spiritual Kataragama, revered by believers of many different religions. Head out in the afternoon on a Jeep safari in Yala and if you are fortunate enough, witness leopards, sloth bears and elephants.
Journey on to Koggala, calling at Galle en route to explore the 17th century Dutch Fort. Arrive at The Fortress Resort & Spa, where you will spend the next 4 nights at this beachfront property.
These days are free to spend at leisure, enjoying all that the resort has to offer or perhaps visiting Kanneliya or Sinharaja rainforests.
Today you will be transferred to Colombo Airport for your flight to London.
