Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Jackson Hole (D)

You will be collected from Jackson Hole Airport and transferred to Jackson Lake Lodge located inside Grand Teton National Park for a 2 night stay. After arriving at the hotel you will receive a welcome reception and dinner.

Day 2

Grand Teton National Park (B , D)

Today take an optional 10 mile rafting trip along the Snake River where you will see some of North America’s most spectacular mountain scenery and wildlife. The afternoon is free to enjoy a range of activities including horse riding and fishing (available at additional cost), or visit the historic town of Jackson, followed by an evening meal at the lodge.

Day 3

Yellowstone National Park (B , L , D)

Depart Grand Teton National Park and arrive at Yellowstone National Park for an overnight stay at Old Faithful Inn. On an afternoon guided excursion you will see the Upper Geyser Basin and the Old Faithful Geyser, which shoots up to 184 feet in the air approximately every 90 minutes. End the day with dinner at your hotel.

Day 4

Yellowstone's Grand Canyon (B , D)

Explore America’s first national park witnessing many geothermal wonders, such as hundreds of brilliantly-coloured hot springs, bubbling mud pots and steaming fumaroles. Follow the Firehole River to Fountain Paint Pot then view the dramatic Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. Make your way through Hayden Valley before arriving for an overnight stay at Lake Yellowstone Hotel.

Day 5

Buffalo Bill's Cody (B , D)

Travel to Cody, a town named after its famous founder, William “Buffalo Bill” Cody. For an authentic view of the Wild West, visit the museums of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. End the day with an evening of fun at either the Cody Wild West Rodeo (seasonal) or the Dan Miller Cowboy Music Revue , followed by an overnight stay at the Holiday Inn® Cody at Buffalo Bill Village.

Day 6

The Bighorn Mountains (B , L , D)

Depart Cody in the morning and traverse the Bighorn Mountains. Feel the spirit of the west during an authentic ranch experience, including a cookhouse lunch, a horse ride and a horse roping demonstration at the TA Guest Ranch. From here, journey to The Ranch at Ucross for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7

Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse in the Black Hills (B , L , D)

Depart the ranch and travel into the Black Hills of South Dakota, where you will have lunch and then visit the Crazy Horse Memorial, a colossal rock sculpture where work has been ongoing for more than 50 years. Continue on to Mount Rushmore National Memorial, where the faces of former presidents are carved into granite bluffs. Arrive at Adoba Eco Hotel Rapid City for a farewell reception, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

Depart Rapid City (B)

The most memorable of Grand Teton and Yellowstone tours ends in Rapid City, South Dakota, where a transfer will take you to the airport for your flight home.
