Summary

Location

Amanemu, surrounded by the forests of Ise Shima National Park, is situated on Japan's Kii Peninsula in Honshu's Mie Prefecture. Overlooking Ago Bay - known as the Bay of Pearls - Amanemu is one-hour by car to the Ise Grand Shrine holy Shinto site and three-hours by car to the UNESCO-protected Kumano Kodo ancient piligrimage routes.
