Nature hike in ecopark
A local Sami guide takes you on a 3 hour hike that is adapted to your level, experience and condition. During the hike the Sami nature guide guides you in animal tracks, wildlife, nature and local sami culture. The hike goes along a mountain ridge to a beautiful viewpoint. You will also visit a beautiful forest lake, this naturehike will offer a lot of photo oportunities. Swedish homebaked Fika and snacks are served during the hike so that your mood and blood sugar levels are on top.
Spin fishing salmon/trout in beautiful River Luleå
The salmon and trout fishing in the Lule river have become well known throughout Sweden. Trout up to 10 pounds (5 kg) and salmon up to 40 pounds (20 kg) is caught on rod every year. A professional fishing guide will show you how to catch the Baltics salmon or trout in one of the best fishing rivers in Europe.
Forest Cycling
Short tour: start the Fatbike trip by the Lule River after a short 5 minutes transfer. Ride on smooth, beautiful trails in the pine woods as well as on the sandy beach along the river right by the water. Stay and take some pictures of the beautiful scenery as well as on the red summer houses along the river. If you are lucky you will see reindeer and moose. About half way take a break to fuel up with some beverage/tea and home baked pastry before taking on the last part of the tour.
Full day tour: Same start as for the short tour before you take a turn deeper into the woods. After a couple of hours it’s time to make a fire and have outdoor lunch next to the cozy fire. When you are satisfied and rested, it's time to get back on the bikes for some more winding trails, photos and memories.
Wilderness Photography
With camera and both telephoto zoom and wide-angle zoom in standby, you are equipped for some beautiful hours of photography in the forest near the Arctic Circle. Your guide is the professional wildlife and wilderness photographer Håkan Hjort, who mainly has the Taiga forest and the Arctic areas as his field of work. He gives you tips on basic photography such as composition, exposure, as well as choice of lens to capture beautiful landscapes and wildlife.
Explore a beautiful forest where you make shorter photo hikes to a waterfall or a quiet scenic woodland creek. Great experiences and pictures of nature are promised. If you are lucky you can see golden eagles, moose or other interesting birds and animals. In the woods by the idyllic forest stream, the guide Håkan serves tea with a good home baked pastry.
Canoeing in Beaver Land - Nature Watching
Guided paddle tour in calm waters among wild beavers in their real habitat. A really exciting outdoor experience. By staying low-key, you can get close to these shy animals. A stop for lunch around the campfire. Good chances to see beaver and other wildlife such as birds, moose and maybe reindeer.
White Water Rafting
The guides equip you with a life vest, wetsuit, helmet and wet-shoes. After security - and paddle instructions you make a 4 hours rafting tour along the nice and dramatic Kamlunge rapids. Lunch stop by the riverbank. Depending on the water level in the river you use different rafts from inflatable canoes to 9-man rafts.
Sea Kayaking at Luleå River
Together with an experienced guide you will paddle at a leisurely pace up the historic Luleå River. A stop ashore and you can relax while the guide prepares a light lunch served by the open fire

Day trip to Storforsen Nature Reserve
Experience the majestic river landscape of Storforsen Nature Reserve, home to Northern Europe’s most voluminous rapid, which flows even during extreme cold.
On the forest-access gravel road to Storforsen, keep your eyes open for the many chances to spot reindeer and other wildlife. Once in the Nature Reserve, stroll the easy, two-kilometer nature trail at your own pace. The wooden walkways will take you upstream and up close to the rapid. Your guide will meet you here and escort you to the warming fire for an organic meal prepared in the traditional Muurikka pan.

Moose calling in bear country
An alluring adventure with the King of the Forest and the Moose Whisperer. Mikael has over 30 years of calling experience and is able to summon the moose really close by impersonating a range of elk. It is mainly aimed for bull moose, but also cow moose with or without calves. If you are lucky, you might spot one of the bears of the forestland, attracted by the moose calls.
Village Visit with Swedish Fika
For a few hours you will get to know the little village of Harads, its past and its present. Together with a local guide you will visit the Church and some other local Buildings. You will hear some interesting stories about how people live their lives in the area and how the ice sheet has shaped the landscape. The guide ends the tour by inviting you home for a really nice Swedish Fika and some interesting conversations.
Bear spotting in midnight sun
According to old folk tales, the bear awakens and leaves its den around Tiburtius Day in mid-April. You serve the bears breakfast, in one of the most densely bear populated areas in the region. When the bear appears so does the midnight sun. During the summer you can spot brown bears 24 hours a day, in the beautiful surroundings of the Swedish Lapland forestland. In the area, you will also find foxes, martens, raccoon dogs, forest birds and breeding golden eagles.
Horse Riding
Seeing nature riding on a horse is a fantastic way to experience something unique. When you arrive at the ranch you will meet a fantastic team who will give you all the instructions you need before going out on your horse. They will make sure you have the right equipment and show you how to saddle a horse. During the day you will ride through forest, experience uniqe nature and wonderful views on the calm horse. You will also stop for a nice meal by an open fire.
For this ride you don't need any previous riding experience as long as you are prepared to embark on adventures!
Healthy herbs and healing songs
Wild herb expert & culture guide Eva Gunnare from Essense of Lapland will bring you on a forest walk, to connect with nature and discover the green treasures that grow in the area. Eva brings her basket filled with her foraged herbs that she has turned into flavoursome treats and some powerful and pure healthy products. You will then come into the heat where Eva serves homemade herbal teas and some more taste bits seasoned with herbs for you to discover. Singing is a way for Eva to heal and she will share these songs with you. This is a tour perfect for you who want to discover nature's own cure. Both in a poetic way and knowledge about wild plants from the Arctic.
Husky Sled Ride 3 hour
Experience the feeling of sliding in a snowy, untouched and quiet winter landscape sitting on the reindeer fur on the guide sled. Take part of the teamwork and the trust between the driver and happy and enthusiastic dogs who love to work in front of the sled in their right element. Stop halfway for a shorter snack stop at a crackling fire in the winter landscape. Here are good opportunities to take photos and cuddle with the dogs.

You will be riding on a snow mobile through beautiful winter landscapes together with a friend and get that wonderful liberating feeling.
Snowmobile Daytour
Expedition starts in the morning with an educational part where your guide will inform you about safety and how to handle the touring snow mobiles. Then you will start your journey passing through forest landscapes with different characters of nature, moors and thick snowcovered pine forest. After some hours of driving you will stop for an outdoor lunch, sitting around the campfire on warm reindeer skins. Chances to see mooses, reindeers and other wildlife are normally good.
Cross Country Skiing
On this lovely ski tour you will make a half day, 3 hour tour in the forest area looking at animal tracks and learn about the boreal forests of Lapland. Halfway you make a stop for outdoor fika. After your break you will continue through the spectacular landscapes in the huge pine forests. Great opportunities to spot moose in the Winter landscape and black grouse.

The fishing guide will teach you the tricks of the trade and show you his favourite ice fishing spots on a private forest lake.
Bike on snow
And you are in for an exclusive experience. Biking on snow, through the old woods and open meadows, maybe seeing moose and reindeers. Biking on the frozen Lule river and areas you can’t cross in the summer is the freedom of biking during winter.
The tour starts from the Arctic Bath in Harads after a short introduction on how to bike on a fatbike. About half way you take a break to fuel up with some tea and home baked pastry before taking on the last part of the tour.
Fatbike is like a mountainbike but with balloon tires that makes it easier to bike on soft surfaces. And much more fun since you reach areas you can't reach otherwise. Fatbike is discovered by more and more people.
Northern lights photography
A fantastic activity seen through a camera makes the experience many times better. This applies in particular to northern lights and images photographed under a star-lined sky.
Your guide is the professional nature- and adventure photographer Håkan Hjort, who mainly has the taiga forest and the Arctic areas as his field of work. If you are interested he gives you tips on basic photography such as composition, exposure, lens selection and angles for taking pictures of northern lights and other phenomenon. Yes, maybe he can even photograph you with the northern lights in the background.
You go to places where you have nice views to the north. The snow-covered forests, creeks and even the small forest roads make a great forefront to the night phenomenon, which takes place in the sky. With the help of the car, you can quickly move between different photo locations.
Sápmi Experience
For almost 10,000 years the Sámi people have lived in Arctic nature in northern Scandinavia. This indigenous culture is still very much alive based upon language, traditions and the reindeer.
You will meet Anna, a young Sámi woman, who lives there with her family. Brought up with reindeer herding, Anna has a vast amount of local knowledge to share with you.
In the lávvu (tent house) you will sit around the fireplace and listen to stories and joik (traditional Sami singing). You will also be served a three course meal prepared over an open fire, with locally produced ingredients.
The camp is situated just outside of Jokkmokk, close to the Arctic circle. Once you crossed the circle you will have a fabulous, once in a lifetime opportunity, to get close to beautiful reindeer while feeding them.
With a maximum of 8 participants per tour, there will be plenty of time for questions and discussions. A visit, to this wonderful part of the country, means that you get a unique opportunity to take part in an ancient culture, listen to the stories and learn about the Arctic way of life.

You will then head over to the small town of Jokkmokk (sometimes referred to as the Sámi capitol of Sweden) where Eva will exclusively invite you to her home. Eva Gunnare's home is filled with foraged wild herbs and berries that is her passion and expertise. Eva has for the last 10 years probed deeply into the local wild green larder, getting to know natures' all benefits as well as traditional use. You will spend the afternoon learning more about edible and healthy Arctic plants. Eva will take you for a short walk in to the forest and down to the stream nearby her house, bringing her basket filled with pure flavours for you to taste. After the walk you will be warmed by the fire in the kitchen with homemade herbal teas and more tasty bits, listening to stories and healing songs. Make your return to Arctic Bath in time for dinner and relax, fulfilled with impressions, new knowledge and the feeling of having two new friends.
