Hotel Information

  • Description

Ca’ Pisani Hotel, fully renovated between 1998 and 2000, was the first Design Hotel in Venice. With the help of two exceptional professionals, this boutique hotel came alive with style, comfort and personality. The architectural elements have remained untouched, and the building is still the typical 14th century Venetian palace, but the interiors show a strong Art Deco influence with original furniture from the 1930s 40s, while the technology is purely 21st century.

Venice Hotel Ca’ Pisani houses some of the artwork of one of the key figures of the Italian Futurist movement, Fortunato Depero. Also, gouache by Ugo Sissa, an artist who was long active in Venice, as well as artwork by other 20th century painters.

Ca' Pisani is a world of refined details: everything has been carefully chosen, considered and created to please the eye and soothe the spirit. The reception counter, the mail boxes, the fish-shaped ebony keys, the doors and door handles, the logos on the wardrobe doors, the polished marble bathrooms, the lift, the hand rail in the 'fireplace' hall, the banisters on the mezzanine floor... at Ca' Pisani, even the smallest detail is the outstanding result of world-class craftsmanship.

Services: Ca’ Pisani is a Design Hotel with state-of-the-art techno facilities and WiFi wireless connection throughout the hotel including all the guestrooms; and for those who choose not to travel with their own laptop, there is a complimentary internet point in the mezzanine where guests can work or check their email.

Sunbathe or relax in the solarium terrace from springtime until autumn, or de-stress in the steam of the Turkish bath for a healthy close to a cold winter day!

A few steps from Ca’ Pisani Design Hotel you will find a fully equipped fitness centre where you can train or work out, while for a memorable dining experience the stylish La Rivista restaurant revisits classic Venetian cuisine with a modern twist.

All the rooms are equipped with direct-dial telephone, Tv, minibar, hair dryer, safe, air conditioning with climate control, and all the amenities of a modern four-star hotel including WiFi connectivity for broadband wireless internet access.
La Revista Wine And Cheese Bar: During summertime, the Wine & Cheese Bar La Rivista offers freshly made snack selections to whet your appetite. Those wishing something more filling may select a cold Mediterranean pasta dish or a board of Italian cold cuts and cheese. The wine list - many selections also available by the glass - includes products from different Italian regions, with a majority from the Veneto.

The design of the Wine & Cheese Bar is unique to Venice, and echoes the Art Deco & Futurist motif of the Ca Pisani Hotel in which it is located. The floor’s polychromatic marble decoration is a floral pattern by the Futurist painter, Fortunato Depero, and the bar counter is an original piece from the Forties retrieved from an old hotel in Padua. The environment is modern, yet warm and welcoming. Banquettes in amaranth leather and the tables with a blue ‘starlight’ pattern, lighting reminiscent of Neapolitan coffee houses, and a magazine rack with design periodicals, for your enjoyment, help create a sophisticated yet comfortable atmosphere.

Although the interior of La Rivista is quite special, outdoor seating is also offered for those who wish to watch Venetian life passing by as they enjoy their refreshments. La Rivista is open every day except Mondays from noon to 11 pm, to both hotel and outside guests it is also popular with local Venetians.
