Bellver Castle
The Bellver Castle is the most splendid castle on the island, located in Palma. It was originally the residence of the kings of Mallorca and subsequently used as a residence for viceroys. Being an enclosed site, the castle has been used mainly as a prison since the end of the 14th century.

Capdepera Castle
The Capdepera Castle is a strategic fortress from the 14th century built on the highest point of the hill of Capdepera, with privileged views of the inland region, the northeast coastline of Mallorca and the Menorca Channel.

Sanctuary of Sant Salvador
Still a popular place of pilgrimage, the Sanctuary of Sant Salvador is located at the highest point of the southern part of the Chain of Llevant. Visit the church and the side chapel off the gatehouse, and enjoy the breathtaking views from the terrace.

The Roman Town of Pol-lentia
Visit the remains of this ancient strategic Roman city, located in the coastal town of Alcudia. Walk from La Portella, the residential area containing the remains of three houses, or domus, to the forum, and finally to the theater.

Claper des gegants
This ancient settlement was built more than 3,000 years ago and it is one of the most important archaeological sites in Mallorca. Located near Canyamel Golf, the site features a circular watchtower, defensive walls and the outlines of several rooms.

The Caves of Arta
Discover a unique natural formation with spectacular surroundings and inner chambers up to 25 meters high with impressive stalactite formations. It was in these caves that Jules Verne found his inspiration for the novel, Journey to the Centre of the Earth.

Capdepera lighthouse
Cala Ratjada lighthouse constructed in the late 19th century. The 18-meter tall Faro itself is not open to visitors, but it indicates the point closest to Menorca, whose coasts are visible on clear days.

Ses Paises
This Bronze Age settlement near Arta is one of the most significant archaeological sites in Mallorca thanks to its size, degree of conservation and number of historical artefacts found. The highlights of this site are the protective walls and the watchtower.

Can March Gardens
Enjoy the charms of a typical Mallorquin garden on the alluring grounds of the March family. The Bartolome March foundation was established to preserve and celebrate the beauty of this part of the island.

Betlem Hermitage

Winery Tours

Son Sureda Ric
Son Sureda Ric is a former private house from the 15th century that opens its doors only for small groups of visitors and offers space for private functions. Three hectares of vineyards are cultivated for the production of signature ecological wines, which are also sold at the winery.

Finca Biniagual
Finca Biniagual is part of the small village of Biniagual, which comprises 14 houses and a chapel, as well extensive farmland. It is a self-sufficient estate that is perfectly integrated into Mallorca's marvelous rural surroundings.

Bodega Ribas
The winery is part of the old Ca'n Ribas house that has been preserved in its original state since its construction in the 18th century. The estate where it is located includes its original and historic barrel cellar and the winemaking warehouse.

Bodegas Jose L. Ferrer
All guided tours begin in the old part of the winery, then go to the new part with the processing plant and the old cellar. Selected wines can be tasted after the tour.



Beaches and Calas

Playa de Canyamel
Canyamel Beach has a mixture of brown sand, pebbles and rocks, and is situated in Canyamel, Capdepera. The beach has crystalline waters ideal for snorkeling and swimming. Many tourists visit the area, but due to its size, it never gets very crowded.

Cala Rotja
A very small cove visited mainly by locals. The water in this marine area between the nearby Cala Roja and Cap des Pinar is excellent for snorkeling, diving and speleology.

Playa de Son Moll
The beach of Cala Ratjada, Son Moll is situated in the center of the town. It has white sand and transparent waters and is very well-equipped with sunbeds, restaurants and bars on the beach. Ideal for swimming, it tends to be busy during summer.

Cala Agulla
Cala Agulla is a stunning 500-meter sandy beach and a local favorite. The beach is very well-served with volleyball nets, sunbeds to rent, toilets, lifeguards, a beach bar, a restaurant, and paid car parking.

Cala Mesquida
Visit this 300-meter-long beach with white sand under protection for its importance in bird life preservation, having the largest colonies of gulls and cormorants in the Balearics.

Font de Sa Cala
Located in the vicinity of Cala Ratjada, this 100-meter-long sandy cove attracts the most visitors in summer. The beach offers the possibility of hiring sunbeds and parasols; and its facilities include toilets, showers, lifeguards and parking spaces nearby.

Cala Torta
Past the town of Arta, you will find the exit to Cala Torta, a wonderful beach in the Llevant Peninsula Nature Reserve. This beach offers long sandy shores and clear waters, as well as a restaurant and parking.

Cala Mitjana
This 50-meter-wide sandy beach with small dunes, pine trees, shrubs and small palm trees is part of the beautiful Llevant Peninsula Nature Reserve. There is free parking and a restaurant, and the beach is easily accessed by road.

Cala Matzoc
This beach is frequented very little and can be reached after a 20-minute walk from Cala Dentol, Estreta. A small, fine-grained sandy area, the name of this beach comes from the round defense tower, Torre des Matzoc from the 18th century.

Cala Dentol
Cala Dentol, also called Cala Estreta, is a lovely 7-meter-wide rocky cove located past Cala Torta and Cala Mitjana. This cove, accessible by car and walking, has places to park and is very unfrequented.

Canyamel Golf
Very fast greens, undulations and perfectly kept fairways make this course a real challenge. Also, there are superb views to enjoy as well as the play. It is located 750 meters away with 18 holes and par 73. More information.
