Summary
Built in 1535, Chateau de Fère is today a stylish four-star hotel. Surrounded by a beautiful forest, and facing ruins from the 12th century, Chateau de Fère offers a unique experience in the heart of the Champagne region.
The 24 bedrooms and 6 suites combine beautiful antique furnishers with modern comfort in a contemporary décor. They are all different and have been carefully designed by the owner, a French architect, to create a cosy and relaxing space.
Chateau de Fère has a sumptuous dining room, with beautiful views on the 12th century ruins.
Chef Dominique Quay offers a creative and refined cuisine, based on traditional French recipes with an Asian influence. His deserts are also very innovative; the chocolate mousse with jasmine and orange caramel is a must. The restaurant’s cellar offers more than 10,000 bottles, with, of course, a large and varied selection of Champagne.
The hotel has a large swimming pool and tennis courts. Many other activities can be organised: horse riding, cycling, golf, spa…Classical and jazz concerts regularly take place in the evening, but also for brunch.
