L'Orangerie is a modern designed restaurant. It can seat up to 120 people. L’Orangerie is a destination for those in search of taste, simplicity, and sublime flavours. Whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner, the menu is a subtle combination of provencal and creative cuisine. The food combines simplicity and flavors with seasonal vegetables from the garden and the best regional suppliers.

Chef Durand's cuisine is modern and full of freshness, influenced by its Breton origins. Passionate about seafood, he fell in love with vegetables in Provence. His signature dish? A seaweed saint-pierre served with a texture artichoke from Provence and a yuzu nori hollandaise sauce.

Château de Fonscolombe’s new gourmet restaurant, La Table de l'Orangerie, has taken up residence in the heart of the chateau’s historic lounges and on the South Terrace near the luxury L'Orangerie brasserie. Chef Quentin Durand crafts his dishes in a way that conveys his desire to continuously go further and do better, with appreciation for ingredients, great skill and a sense of coming together.

Parquet flooring, tiling, a grand piano and an 18th-century crystal chandelier showcase the elegant and authentic house style. This magical place with a terrace overlooking the treasures in the gardens with "Historic Monument" status is a private and intimate setting that can host up to 25 guests.

Taking inspiration from the riches to be found in the local area, the Chef and his team work with the best nearby producers to create a subtle and sophisticated menu in harmony with the seasons.

Partnership with Tristan Arlaud
To further reduce food miles and develop a responsible approach, the chateau has recently begun a partnership with Puy-Sainte-Réparade organic farmer Tristan Arlaud to create the chateau’s organic vegetable garden. Chef Quentin Durand and Tristan Arlaud work together in the garden to "lovingly and respectfully" grow tomatoes, herbs, courgettes, peas, beans and other seasonal delights that have no need to be chilled before reaching diners’ plates as they are guaranteed to be fresh and wonderfully tasty.

Therapists at the Château de Fonscolombe put the spotlight on relaxation and letting go and offer you a moment of well-being and a real parenthesis of serenity. Each massage is personalized according to your needs and desires of the moment, whether in terms of pressure, the choice of body parts massaged, the fragrance of the massage oils, the musical atmosphere. The practitioners will be at your disposal to accompany you in this unique well-being parenthesis.

There is also an outside heated pool. 


FITNESS ROOM
A rowing machine whose counterweight is a water-filled vessel that reproduces the sounds of gentle splashing. A water grinder to work the arm muscles. This machine is inspired by sailboats that have hand pedals to crank open the sails. A slimbeam cable machine that works all the muscles. This equipment received the Design Award in Germany in 2016. Dumbbells and floor mats.

PARK
The park and the Château gardens are an invitation to travel in the heart of a nature as varied as it is lush in enchanted landscapes of Provence. Petanque, cycling, jogging trail, picnics and relaxing … so many activities to re-energizing yourself. Cultivating the garden: a fun tour of the vegetable garden and the parks where botany fans can discover the 180 listed items.

There is tennis court 5 minutes from the Château at the Tennis Club of Puy Sainte Reparade. 

WINERY
Rich in Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC and Bouches-du-Rhône IGP, the Fonscolombe vineyards produce three different colours of wine with fine and fruity noses. The Château’s wine estate goes back to Roman times. Mineral-rich land and a Mediterranean climate have left their marks on their wine, the tradition of which was perpetuated to such an extent by the Saporta family that it became one of the symbols of the region. They, therefore, owe the creation of the Roy René "Brotherhood of Cupbearers," who promoted Les Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, to Louis de Saporta. Rich in Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence AOC and Bouches-du-Rhône IGP, the Fonscolombe vineyards produce three different colours of wine with fine and fruity noses. Our Merlot, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon plots are cultivated without synthetic chemicals, allowing for our reds, whites, and rosés to benefit from the "Organic Wine" label.
