Blending British seasonality and global inspiration – with a few surprises along the way – Daniel Humm’s Michelin-starred food leaves a lasting memory. The unique Superior King, the Duchess of Rivoli Room, echoes the traditional design and French flair of the Empress Eugenie Suite. The Duchess of Rivoli Room was inspired by the Duchess herself, along with the garments and jewellery that she chose for The Empress.
The Mayfair King Room celebrates all the history of Claridge’s, pairing original features with contemporary touches.
The Mayfair King category draws on the design and motifs from the hotel’s past, and includes rooms in traditional and art deco style. The former feature period details such as gilded cornices, while the latter are inspired by the fashions and patterns of the 1930s. This attention to detail continues in the polished marble bathrooms where the taps and brassware have been custom made to an original Claridge’s design.
