The Presidential Penthouse consists of two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, Plantation Room with large dining area and private outdoor terrace. There is a spectacular panoramic view of beautiful Palm Beach and the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
As you enter the Penthouse, you enter a world of British Colonial charm. Done in pale shades of buttery yellow and silvery green, the focal point of the living room is the white baby grand piano. Comfortable seating, a 42 inch flat screen TV and Oriental rugs on top of polished porcelain tiles complete the mood. The Plantation Room, overlooking south Palm Beach and the Atlantic Ocean, has a large dining room table (made of Andiroba hardwood) that can seat 12. There is also a bar, which can be stocked with your favorite liquors (We can also provide the Bartender), and a flat screen TV. The butler kitchen has a granite countertop, fridge, stove and microwave.
On the other side of the living room is an open-air veranda where you can enjoy the blue sky while basking in the Florida sun.
Fall asleep at night on one of the luxurious pillow-top beds prepared with down comforters and pillows, and all done in white 300 count Egyptian cotton sheets. Bathrooms are done in white tile and have large fluffy towels and robes with Molton Brown amenities.
This 1,910 square-foot two-bedroom penthouse features a British Colonial style infused with European elegance.
The elevator hallway introduces the polished Gold Jerusalem stone flooring used also inside the unit to achieve continuity. The focal point of the living room is the fireplace with granite appliqué. Comfortable seating, a 42-inch plasma TV above the mantel, wall décor and accessories add the finishing touch including decorative mouldings to the 10-foot ceilings and added lighting in an effort to update every essential element. The outside view is undisturbed by window treatments except for panels in a birds of paradise pattern and opaque solar shades. French doors lead to an open-air veranda with lounges and additional dining seating. Two Italian semi-flush chandeliers, tropical touches and a black baby grand piano add drama to the dining room. The kitchen was completely gutted and transformed into a 21st Century chef’s dream with gleaming green everglades granite countertops and full backsplash, wine cooler, stainless Kitchen-Aid appliances and custom designed cabinetry.
The two bedrooms and baths conveys a sense of tranquility and harmony done in buttercup yellow with soft cream window drapes with blackout lining and sheers, white plantation shutters and soft lighting. The white-tilled baths, vanities with granite countertop are complete with fluffy white towels and robes with Molton Brown toiletries. An elegant framed wall mirror over the sink adds a formal touch to the bathrooms. The luxurious pillow-top beds prepared with down comforters, lush pillows and 300 count Egyptian cotton sheets contrast with the deep wood tones. Customer designed walk-in closets with oversized mirrors provide all the comforts of home with a tropical flavor.
Another patio leads to a private verandah offering spectacular views of the brilliant turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean and views of Palm Beach. Lounge chairs and chaises with bright cushions shaded by a canopy and curtains amidst large oriental planters holding lush greenery combine beauty with relaxation.
In 1928, Mr. and Mrs. William Waller, Jr. commissioned the design of their elegant winter residence, Casa Manana, near the exclusive Everglades Club Golf Course in Palm Beach. Their charming mansion was completed within the next year. Some 20 years later The Colony Hotel would rise on the site adjacent to Casa Manana and subsequently their home was purchased and restored by the hotel. Casa Manana now offers seven distinctive villas all with flora-inspired names such as Gardenia, Jasmine, Hibiscus, etc. within the original mansion.
Each of the charming two-bedroom villas in this Mediterranean-inspired landmark feature magnificent beamed and hand- stenciled pecky cypress ceiling, original custom milled planking and hand-formed Barbados floors. Villas are spacious and range in size from 900 to well over 2700 square feet. The villas have fully-equipped kitchens, washers and dryers, marble baths and Jacuzzi bathtubs each with its own balcony or patio. The villas share a private pool, sundeck and parking.
