Nestled in 240 acres of stunning polo parkland on the border of Winsor Great Park, lies Coworth Park, the Dorchester Collection’s 5 star, 70 room country style house hotel and spa. The 17th century mansion and polo estate has been given a chic and eco-friendly modern makeover, which includes three restaurants and an enormous spa. The hotel combines the cosy comforts of a country house with a quintessentially English style and all the modern luxuries guests could desire.
The hotel is set in peaceful and historic surroundings, just outside of Sunningdale, near Ascot, Berkshire. Coworth House, now known as Coworth Park Hotel, dates back to 1776, and takes its name from the nearby Hamlet of Coworth.
This late 18th-century country house’s interior was gutted and rebuilt in 2008 and a new roof was laid. Coworth Park’s original exterior façade and Georgian charm has been retained and given a more contemporary and unconventional design boost. The updated design combines the old and the new seamlessly, which is most evident in the English smoked oak flooring that blends perfectly with the minimalist design palette. The hotel’s interiors have been designed with a modern style, using high quality materials, bespoke furniture, beautiful craftsmanship and all the modern technology guests could desire. Coworth House re-opened as a hotel on the 27th September 2010.
