d'Angleterre has a luxurious indoor swimming pool and it is the only pool in the inner city of Copenhagen. The pool area consists of a heated indoor swimming pool (length: 10x12 meter and depth: 1,2 meter), sauna and a steam room.

The fitness area is equipped with professional TechnoGym equipment such as treadmills, various kinesis stations and exercise bikes.

Children of all ages are encouraged to explore the hotel and spend time with the concierge to see how this fascinating department works. Then for the slightly older kids there’s Copenhagen Cable Park where you can learn to wake board and even do jumps (all whilst attached to a series of cables) and Copenhill, the artificial ski slope and recreational hiking area which has been built on top of the new waste management centre called ARC. It is pretty much a sci-fi fantasy! There is also the world’s highest climbing wall at 85 metres high for those with no fear of heights.

Then there is Airtrix Trampoline Park, which amongst the best and biggest trampoline in Europe. Here, you can choose between thousands of square metres of trampolines. There is the freestyle zone with lots of adjacent vertical and horizontal trampolines, the activity foam pit, the interactive walls and the many other activities. Right next door to Airtrix you can discover the colourful climbing park Clip´n´Climb, which is the first of its kind in Denmark.

COOKING CLASSES DANISH STYLE
All the following experiences can be booked privately and curated specifically for you or you can alternatively join one of the scheduled classes.  Just a 5-minute walk from d’Angleterre you can start your day learning to bake Danish Rye Bread, perfect Sourdough Buns and delicious classic Danish Pastries (like Kanelsnegl or “Cinnamon Snail”) at the Copenhagen Cooking School. There you can learn the essential techniques for mixing, kneading, proving and shaping the different types of dough. Once you are finished baking, you can sit together in the stylish dining room to enjoy a true Danish Breakfast with all your freshly baked goodies, tasty toppings served with fresh juice, tea, coffee and a snaps, just like a true Dane. Or you can discover the art of sandwich making, Danish style making Smørrebrød (open faced sandwich). Learn how to make traditional Danish rye bread, creating a variety of seasonal and traditional toppings and then assemble, decorate and stack your smørrebrød. Here you will enjoy classic Danish “smørrebrød”, but with Michelin chef Wassim Hallal’s contemporary twist.   You will then visit the breathtaking ARoS Aarhus Art Museum , one of the biggest art museums in Northern Europe and hard to miss due to trademarks Olafur Eliasson’s ‘Your Rainbow Panorama’ and Ron Mueck’s ‘Boy’ . This ambitious museum aims at being a game changer and an internationally acclaimed museum and multiple blockbuster exhibitions points to its success.  Before driving to the harbour you will also stop by Den gamle by, which translates into The old town and is an open-air museum of urban history and culture in Denmark through three centuries.
