Housed in the painterly come-hither red brick building, Faena Hotel in Buenos Aires's prestigious waterfront barrio of Puerto Madero is a truly experiential place for many reasons. Being marvellously glam, Faena Hotel boasts polished luxury with sensual red touches and Belle Époque details.

Modelled by the world famous French designer Phillippe Starck, this grand boutique hotel offers eighty-eight super-stylish yet elegant rooms, including twenty-two outstanding suites. The accommodations offer comfortable white or red leather chairs, armchairs or sofas, creative bathroom interiors and inspiring views of the South America's most artistic and bohemian city.

Inspired by traditional BA's cantinas and exuding the rustic ambience, El Mercado Restaurant's kitchen sizzles up authentic local cuisine. Bistro Sur specializes more in international cuisine, but uses the best local produce and offers such dishes as rabbit ravioli, lamb shoulder or Patagonian toothfish with seafood paella. La Cava, which is designed for private dinners, houses the largest wine collection in the country. There is also a bar at Faena's sleek pool and it offers refreshing cocktails and fresh juices. Guests who want to ensconce themselves in the alluring confines of a cozy Library Lounge are awaited with fragrant morning coffee, Afternoon Tea or evening drinks.

What makes Faena especially unique is its El Cabaret. It is a sexy and intimate club, inspired by tango clubs of 1920s, and it delivers hypnotic tango performance Rojo Tango

A visit to the spa at Faena is also a memorable journey itself. Scooping inspiration from ancient healing and prettifying rituals, the spa offers an impressive selection of body massages and facials. There is also an Orient-inspired hammam and a choice of private baths, infused with fragrant relaxing essential oils. The hotel has a gym and a beauty salon. Yoga, twin-heart meditation and eco-walk/eco-bike are available as well as Argentine tango lessons. These are highly recommended in the city, where this dance was born, and we suggest not forgetting to pack your dance shoes!

Faena exudes a definitely grown-up atmosphere, but kids are welcome, with babysitting available. The hotel is also great for travellers with pets which are up to eleven pounds.

This extraordinary hotel is ideally placed in the city center and it is great if you want to explore the city. It is also a place you want to re-book as soon as you leave.

The Library Lounge:

Lined with antique books and draped in red velvet, The Library Lounge is an intimate space featuring tufted leather sofas, richly detailed rugs and crystal candelabras. Enjoy a quiet morning coffee, afternoon tea or evening cocktails with live entertainment.

Faena Hotel Buenos Aires offers a fully-equipped fitness center. Yoga, eco-walk/eco-bike and tango lessons are also available.

Meetings And Events:

Faena Hotel is an excellent place for hosting a business meeting, conference or a party. It offers a wide choice of functional venues as well as super-attentive staff.

Bistro Sur:

Savor a meal worth remembering in one of Argentina’s most spectacular settings. Bistro Sur’s whimsical Philippe Starck décor will fascinate guests just as much as the delicate menu prepared by Faena’s local chef, Rodrigo Vazquez. Modern techniques combined with Argentina’s best seasonal products, give birth to dishes like beef carpaccio with bacon milk, mint and potato chips or sweetbreads with lemon puree, grilled grapes and pine nuts.

El Mercado:

El Mercado blends the energy of Buenos Aires' legendary cantinas with the charm of Europe's open-air markets. This warm, intimate space features the best of Argentinian cuisine prepared by Chef, Emiliano Yulita in the traditional adobe oven, authentic wood fire asados and dining alfresco on the restaurant’s terrace. Exposed brick, wooden tables and curated antiques from the historic San Telmo district reflect Argentina's rich cultural heritage.

The spa at Faena is an oasis of holistic therapies for the spirit, mind, and body and blends ancient healing rituals from around the world to awaken consciousness and restore wellbeing. It offers a lengthy menu of various treatments, massages and facials. The spa also houses a hammam and private baths, including lavender, eucalyptus and mint infused sea breeze bath or a lovers' bath for two. There is also a beauty salon, offering hair, mani-pedi, make-up and waxing services.

La Cava:

Host a private dinner or tasting in the hotel’s candlelit cellar surrounded by Faena’s 4,000 bottle collection of fine wines. Personalized menus with wine pairings prepared by the Executive Chef make La Cava a memorable experience for every celebration.
