BASTAKIYA
Dubai’s tiny Bastakiya quarter was founded in the 1890s by wealthy textile and pearl traders from Bastak, Iran. It’s like stepping into the past! The narrow laneways are now lined with galleries and cafés.

DUBAI MUSEUM
In a fort built in 1787 – the oldest building in the city – Dubai Museum depicts everyday life before the discovery of oil. Galleries recreate historic Arab houses, mosques and souks, and teach about pearl diving.

CULTURAL MEALS

CAMEL RACING
Witness this extraordinary sport at the Dubai Camel Racing Club, with a season from October to March. There’s even a Dubai Camel Racing Festival in February, attended by most of the UAE’s 14,000 racing camels.

BURJ KHALIFA
Your kids will love visiting the world’s tallest free-standing structure. This tower measures 828 metres (2,717 feet) and took more than five years to build. Get thrilling views from the observation deck on the 124th floor.

DUBAI FOUNTAIN SHOWS
Set on the 12-hectare (30-acre) Burj Khalifa Lake, the world’s largest choreographed fountain features shows each afternoon and evening. The Dubai Fountain shoots water to the height of a 50-storey building.

WILD WADI WATER PARK
Just south of Four Seasons on the beachfront, Wild Wadi offers 30 rides and attractions for the whole family. The water park is themed around the tale of Juha, a well-known character from Arabian folklore.
 
DUBAI AQUARIUM
