An open-air thatched-roof lounge within sight of the Elephant Camp and overlooking Burma and the Ruak River, Burma Bar enjoys perfect views of the sunset. The Bar is decorated with trekking and navigation equipment, including maps, books, and tribal antiques. Its home-like, informal atmosphere makes it the spot for a quiet, contemplative moment in which to enjoy the tranquility of the environment. Sip a cocktail and read a book while curled up in one of its overstuffed leather couches.
The interpretation of a wine cellar is a thatched-roof building in the local style. The cellar goes beyond storing an impressive collection of international and Thai wines. Its rustic-looking structure serves as a wine-tasting room as well as a venue for romantic dinners or private parties (seats a maximum of six). Guests are waited on by a server wearing white gloves.
The spa's traditional Thai massages and innovative rituals are enhanced by the healing power of mountain botanicals and local warming spices.
