Summary

Immerse yourself in the more than one hundred year old history of the Gstaad Palace: the luxury hotel in Switzerland opened its doors on 8 December 1913. Successfully: it was decided to build an extension after the first season. In the 1960s gala dinners with international stars such as Louis Armstrong and Marlene Dietrich cause a great sensation. Andrea Scherz is the third generation now to manage the hotel.

Whether it’s a spectacular penthouse suite with three bedrooms or the stylishly decorated single and double rooms, the hotel places a great importance on Alpine elegance and understated luxury. You have a breathtaking view over the Swiss Alps from the suites and rooms. A treat in both the summer and winter!

The journey by car takes two hours from both Geneva and Basel, you need roughly 2 and a half hours from Zurich.

The hotel also offers limousine service.
