HYPOXIC STUDIO
Ham Yard Hotel has a private, fully equipped hypoxic gym for those wanting to take their training to the next level. The technology represents the most advanced, natural performance enhancing tools available for improving all facets of performance, most notably fitness, recovery and rehabilitation. Altitude training improves physical performance by enhancing muscle function and increasing the transport and uptake of oxygen by the body. Hotel guests can book a complimentary 30 minute session, a minimum of 24 hours in advance. The Gym is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for hotel guests.

THE LIBRARY
The Library at Ham Yard Hotel is a hand-picked reading and reference library to inspire, entertain and better inform. The collection includes a large section on London, its history, arts, literature, culture and politics and a wide selection on travel, world history and global issues. For those who want to escape there is an abundance of prize winning literature and thrillers. The brass plates are a guide to the categories and subject headings. The walls are lined with Kit Kemp's Christopher Farr fabric, Ozone, with hand embroidered Suzani curtains from her Chelsea Textiles collection. The large honesty bar encourages guests to make themselves at home by fixing themselves a cocktail, coffee or nightcap.

THE DRAWING ROOM
The Drawing Room at Ham Yard Hotel is adjacent to the restaurant and faces the leafy Ham Yard terrace. A large French fireplace takes centre stage and the rich fabric walls give the room a warm glow. There are beautiful hand painted Scandinavia bureaus, bespoke Bryon O'Casey rugs and a specially curated collection of books by Philip Blackwell. The Drawing Room is open to hotel residents for drinks and afternoon tea.

THE ROOF TERRACE
On the fourth floor of the hotel, there is a large, leafy roof top garden with sweeping views over the London skyline. The garden is also home to two bee hives which are tended to by the dedicated bee keeper, Camilla. There is a lounge area scattered with Whitman benches, upholstered seating and a bar. The Roof Terrace is exclusively available to in-house guests and can also be hired for private events, including company celebrations, birthday parties and more. 


THE CROC BOWLING ALLEY
The Croc is a spectacular private events space which houses an original 1950's bowling alley, stylish lounge, bar and dance floor. Imported from Texas and manufactured by the iconic Brunswick company, the monochrome bowling ball returns include original features such as hand warmers and visible return runs. The solid maple bowling lanes have been specially commissioned, making it one of only a few of its kind in the UK. Back-lit bowling balls, vintage bowling shoes and bowling pin lamps sit alongside two large scale Howard Hodgkin artworks. The silver baby grand piano and South African made sofas give a lounge feel. Bowlers bowl into a suspended brick wall with flickering lights and can choose to have UV pins and shoelaces. Three driftwood crocodiles scour the wall at the back of the dance floor.


HAM YARD THEATRE
The 190 seat state-of-the-art theatre has been designed and equipped to the highest professional standards. The walls are lined with electric blue wool, with striking tangerine orange leather seats and bright fuchsia pink silk curtains framing the stage. As well as an exclusive dress circle balcony, there are two beautifully appointed green rooms complete with mini bar, shower, sofa and desk.

DIVE BAR
The theatre’s Dive Bar is named in honour of a 3ft neon lit lady diver, which hangs on the far wall alongside cascading Kit Kemp designed Rick Rack wall fabric by De Gournay. The theatre and bar can be hired for private or industry screenings, corporate presentations, press conferences and small theatrical productions. 


FIRMDALE ART WALKS
Firmdale Hotels are giving art enthusiasts a guided tour of Ham Yard. Find out how to collect and successfully hang art, making it fun and interesting within a living space.

Design Director, Kit Kemp’s passion for art is present within the interior design of all Firmdale Hotels with famous artists juxtaposed beside up-and-coming ones. Artworks range from Tony Cragg’s sculpture at the centre of Ham Yard Hotel’s courtyard, to the mesmerising A Million Times installation by Humans since 1982 and Martha Freud’s 32 glowing porcelain pots, which feature within the restaurant.

Starting in the Drawing Room of Ham Yard Hotel, visitors will be guided through Kit’s personally chosen art collection, before journeying on an intimate walking tour to some of Soho and Mayfair’s most prestigious galleries, led by curator Olivia Paterson.

The walk will end at Ham Yard Hotel, where guests can choose to enjoy a delicious three-course lunch or Afternoon Tea.
