The heart of Saint Germain des Prés beats between the walls of the magnificent Bel Ami Hotel. Following the literary and very Parisian tradition of this dynamic district, the hotel imposes its own unique elegant and relaxed atmosphere. Light and airy, vibrant with colour, the hotel blossoms out over its course of aesthetic metamorphoses.
Born with the 21st century, it asserts itself as a preferred meeting point for well-informed travellers, sensitive to beauty and creativity. Its literary, artistic, epicurean source of inspiration is displayed with talent in its open areas. And the prospect is attractive… from a French breakfast at Bel Ami Café or a vernissage at B.A bar springs the lively alchemy of modern romantism and urban conviviality.
As a counterpoint to this effervescence, the new Wellness Center by Esthederm is a delicious promise of detente and relaxation. Since its opening nine years ago, several interior designers and renowned architects, magicians of space, colour and light have succeeded one another to give Bel Ami its originality and contemporary charm, while preserving its very own soul and spirit.
Recently renovated, the suites on the top floor evoke with tenderness the past of the hotel, built on the former premises of a magnificent 18th century printing works. The scent of old books, wooden shelves and comfortable armchairs, the spirit of Maupassant, charmer, dreamer, occasional dandy, watch over the destiny of Bel Ami, a fashionable address which now belongs to Bessé Signature group.
The relaxing and convivial atmosphere of the Bel Ami Bar varies as the day progresses. Bathed in natural light by day, and livened by designer light in the evening, the Bel Ami Bar is both an intimate and lively spot for a light lunch or dinner or to relax among friends with subtle and original cocktails.

Philippe Maidenberg has given the Bel Ami Café a bright and warm contemporary look with his striking colour that complement the natural light of a huge glazed bay window, the bookshelves with their collection of art books, ceiling screens that show Parisian life (including video films by Lézarts Production), and a whole variety of objects that you might find at home. The decoration is complemented by an immense illuminated suspension (a Philippe Maidenberg creation in collaboration with Ombre Portée), which repeats (in French, of course!) Gu...
