The Tower Suite

The most ancient part of the castle, built in 900AD, the 2-bedroom suite spreads over five floors with a spectacular terrace. It will be hard to tear yourselves away from the very top, relaxing on day beds & soaking up the atmosphere with 360° views.

The entrance passes right over the huge gateway to the castle, leading to a living room, up to the master bedroom (with king-sized bed) and bathroom. The floor above houses the second bedroom (with queen-size bed) and bathroom, which in turn leads up to the study. By the very nature of this historical tower, there is no lift and some rooms are more compact than others in the castle but, at the top, a roof garden with an open-air tub – and frankly extravagant views over the Umbrian countryside is quite a bonus
