Both twin and king-bedded Executive suites offer sweeping views. In the day time light streams right through to the bathrooms; at night it is a powerful sight to gaze across the neon lit city from 30 floors up, and quite a sensation from the comfort of your bed. In the king bedded rooms the designer tub is right by the glass, luxuriate and enjoy the view.
The suite’s plan is particularly versatile. The bedroom has a built in wardrobe, make-up table and twin sinks. The living room is spacious with a separate entrance area and powder room for guests.
The rare ‘Isegata’ hung on the wall is an original yukata stencil and part of a unique collection by Mandarin Oriental, Tokyo. Yukatas represent many things, specifically the Japanese culture of hospitality. Guests will feel extremely comfortable settling into this room for longer stays.

Oriental Suite

The interiors are calming, reminiscent of forest glades. The curtains are a chenille weave in a motif of quercus serrata branches. The bed coverings are a soft, smooth fabric decorated in a tree-leaf theme, conjuring an image of lying down in a bed of fallen leaves.

Ever since Mitsukoshi opened a fabric shop here more than 300 years ago, the stories of Nihonbashi and the kimono have been intertwined. The unique ‘Isegata’, a pattern for Yukata, mounted on the wall is a collector’s piece and master artisans were commissioned to create many original fabrics for these rooms expressing the artistic and cultural traditions of Japan. The details throughout the rooms epitomise rare luxury.
