“We have selected an interesting combination of areas for you, and the key to the Mara experience is in the hidden gems along the way. Lions wait under the acacias, cheetahs run the plains, and we watch a single male leopard in an insignificant gully pick of 14 wildebeest in one day. When others look one way, we like to see what is going on behind us!” Derek Joubert, camp owner.

Binoculars and professional Canon camera complimentary use - activities

Each guest tent includes one pair of Swarovski HD binoculars and a professional Canon camera body and lens kit for complimentary use.

Game Drives - activities

Early morning, late afternoon and night game drives in an open, 4×4 vehicle. Olare Motorogi Conservancy has the lowest vehicle density in the Maasai Mara, and the highest concentration of big cats in Africa, plus plains species like zebra, eland, wildebeest, giraffe, and warthog. The camp is also home to many of the Mara’s 300 bird species.

Sundowners in savannah - activities

It’s a bar like no other. The drinks on offer are standard – wine, gin or vodka and tonic, and beer. But the locals are extremely wild and the doorman has a spear.
