EXPLORE ONE OF THE WONDERS OF THE WORLD
Chichén Itzá, one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, served as a political, economic and ceremonial center of the Mayan civilization. This is probably the most important example of Mayan culture in the Yucatan Peninsula and home to the most impressive buildings of any ancient Mayan civilization. If you only do one day trip during your vacation, this should be the one. Complement this tour with a visit to Valladolid, a picturesque colonial town. Chichén Itzá is located 124 miles (200 kilometers) west of the resort.

Valladolid is deeply Mayan, from the guttural consonants of the language heard on its streets, to the many women still wearing the traditional huipil (white cotton dresses adorned with bright, flowered embroidery). TULUM EXPERIENCE
Experience the crown jewel of archeological sites in Quintana Roo. Tulum enjoys a spectacular cliff-side location, looking out over the majestic Caribbean Sea, which sparkles in vibrant shades of aqua and turquoise.
