A bright new star in the constellation of Myconian Collection luxury hotels, Korali Relais & Châteaux enjoys the best of both worlds. Perched on the hills above the historic harbour, it is a coveted haven minutes away from the cafés of Little Venice, boutiques, tavernas and famously alluring nightlife of Mykonos Town. The elegance of simple lines, espoused in both architectural structure and detailing, lends added impact to the vibrant touches of signature yellow and touches of red and orange that will get your first three chakras humming. Its contemporary spaces come alive with the best of international design that lends an unmistakeable air of sophistication to complement the gracious hospitality, haute cuisine and exceptional views which celebrate the ethos of excellence and savoir faire that defines a Relais & Châteaux retreat.
Luxurious rooms and suites are intimate spheres of infinite comfort, opening onto shaded balconies sporting oversized pools or Jacuzzis — the perfect counterpoint to the buzz and cinemascope brilliance of the sun-baked pool deck under sail, where afternoons fade lazily into sunset extravaganzas and starry nights at Kitrino Bar. Yet the most distinctive feature of Korali is perhaps Baos, its incomparable fine dining restaurant which floats seamlessly over the iconic panorama. As your eye is drawn out as far as sight allows, over the white profile of Mykonos town, beyond Tinos, to the very edge of the deep blue sea, the ozone-rich lofty views will sharpen your appetite: haute cuisine will acquire a double meaning. Indulgence is the only imperative here.
Korali enjoys an exceptional position, a short stroll away from the stone steps of the historical harbour below the windmills, leading down to Little Venice and the most picturesque part of Mykonos. The views onto its white profile outlined against the blue Aegean from the pool deck, private balconies and the Baos balcony, are unforgettably iconic. This proximity to the town’s bustling maze of narrow alleys, booming with hip bars and acclaimed restaurants, makes Korali an ideal destination for guests seeking to combine the sophisticated Myconian nightlife with the elegant luxury of a Relais & Chateaux. The nearby complement of local craft and high-end boutiques, including Chanel, Burberry, and Louis Vuitton, are part of the eclectic mix. As are the Aegean Maritime Museum and the Folklore Museum, perfect for those seeking a nostalgic overview of Mykonos’ rich seafaring and cultural history.
To experience the island’s legendary club life, take a short journey off the coastal route or by boat to Cavo Paradiso (2 km away) or Super Paradise, slightly further afield. The party migrates from sun-drenched beach bars to open-air nightclubs pumping with all-night energy. A complimentary shuttle service is available to run guests of the Myconian Collection to our other hotels.
Ferries to the famous ruins of Delos, one of the most important mythological and archaeological sites in the Mediterranean, depart from the town harbour. Alternatively, you may choose to explore the neighbouring desert island of Rhenia or the hidden coves of Mykonos by private launch.
