SAADIYAT BEACH GOLF CLUB
Harnessing the natural beauty of Saadiyat Island’s white sand beaches for a truly unique playing experience, this is the region’s first ocean course. Seaside views not only provide a stunning backdrop to the meandering, eco-conscious course, but also provide the chance of spotting dolphins along the glistening Arabian Gulf. Natural beauties aside, the course itself is an expertly crafted combination of majestic hazards and picturesque challenges, including three saltwater lakes, restored beach and sand dunes, as well as 60 bunkers. Designed by Gary Player with both amateurs and professionals in mind, carefully-positioned tee boxes ensure the total yardage starts at 5,290, although the course can also be extended to an astounding, 7,784 yards for pros.

ABU DHABI GOLF CLUB
Home to the annual Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship, a European PGA Tour event –the award-winning Abu Dhabi Golf Club is presided over by one of the Middle East’s most iconic clubhouses: a vast winged falcon perched atop a golf ball. The facility features two distinct playing experiences, including the Par 72 National course, which covers 7,334 yards of lush fairways, undulating greens and more than 90 challenging bunkers, and the more accessible Par 36 Garden Course, which totals 3,299 yards. The fully floodlit, nine-hole Garden Course also offers the perfect opportunity for night golf, played on a championship-standard green.

DESERT SAFARI EXCURSION
at the Abu Dhabi Desert
The Desert Safari Excursion offers a unique opportunity for guests to experience a true Arabian adventure. The journey starts with a drive through the city, showcasing Abu Dhabi’s impressive city landscape. Upon arrival at the desert, participants start dune bashing and the trek on camelback across the beautifully colored sand dunes, making their way to their private Arabic camp set in the heart of the desert. As the sun vanishes below the sandy horizon, an authentic Arabic dinner crafted with unique spices is served by a private Chef.

BEYOND THE PEARL
Rosewood Abu Dhabi is a waterfront oasis just a short boat ride away from nearby mangroves, which are integral to UAE’s coastal ecosystem. For an authentic Emirati experience, guests can join local divers aboard a traditional dhow to dive for pearls in the mangroves. After learning about the Arabian Gulf’s ancient pearling industry, guests can enjoy a sumptuous picnic of Arabic delicacies prepared by Chef Emad. This experience can be enjoyed by up to six guests at a time.

TAPAS AND WINE IN LA CAVA
Tailor-made menus, available in Abu Dhabi’s only wine cellar at La Cava, present masterpieces from acclaimed Chef Francisco Sanabria. Situated in Rosewood Abu Dhabi, La Cava offers an array of delicacies ideal for all types of wine pairing. Chef Francisco Sanabria flawlessly combines the best of Cataluna with a variety of signature Catalonian dishes such as pan-fried foie gras, oysters, Iberian ham and Spanish cheeses, complemented by vintage wines recommended by La Cava’s sommelier. This experience can be enjoyed by up to six guests at a time.
THINGS TO SEE IN ABU DHABI
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
This architectural work of art is one the world’s largest mosques, with a capacity for an astonishing 41,000 worshippers. It features 82 domes, over a 1,000 columns, 24 carat gold gilded chandeliers and the world's largest hand knotted carpet. The mosque's first ceremony was the funeral of its namesake, Sheikh Zayed, who is buried at the site. The striking white and gold colours shining in the sun are transformed at night by a unique lightning system which reflects the phases of the moon.
Al Ain Oasis
Transporting visitors from the hustle and bustle of downtown Abu Dhabi to a tranquil haven, this is the largest oasis in the city of Al Ain, located near the Al Ain Museum. Guests will experience a world far removed from the gilded charms of Abu Dhabi – the rustle of palm fronds in lush plantations, birdsong, and verdant farmland.

Manarat Al Saadiyat
Manarat Al Saadiyat translates from Arabic as 'a place that provides enlightenment'. This fascinating exhibition offers an interactive narrative on the history and cultural vision behind the island including the striking designs for new cultural institutions such as the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.
Art Hub is the first artist community to be established in the United Arab Emirates and focuses on emerging and established visual artists from across the world. Abu Dhabi Art Hub serves as a platform for interaction and cross-cultural artistic exchanges between national, regional and international artists.
Etihad Modern Art Gallery
Etihad Modern Art Gallery (EMAG) is a multi-purpose art space and café in the heart of the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi. The gallery is open to the public every day (excluding Fridays) from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with an open door and free admission policy. The goal of EMAG is a continuous progression of the art scene in Abu Dhabi, as well as promoting Emirati traditions, culture and art to a wider global audience.
This reconstruction of a traditional oasis village provides an interesting glimpse into the emirate’s past and traditional aspects of the desert way of life. Craftsmen demonstrate traditional skills, such as metal work and pottery, while craftswomen sit weaving and spinning.
Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital
The Abu Dhabi Falcon Hospital is the world’s largest, and most advanced, falcon hospital. Its highlight is a falcon display museum as well as a facility with free-flying falcons. You can visit the luxurious wards where the birds are kept, gain an insight into the noble desert sport of falconry and try your hand at the pursuit in the lush gardens.
In 2008, Masdar City broke ground and embarked on a daring journey to develop the world’s most sustainable eco-city. Masdar City is successfully pioneering a “greenprint” for how cities can accommodate rapid urbanisation and dramatically reduce energy, water and waste.The city, which combines ancient Arabic architectural techniques with modern technology and captures prevailing winds is naturally cooler and more comfortable during the high summer temperatures. But the sun is also a blessing. Harnessing the sun’s rays, Masdar uses clean energy generated on site from rooftop solar technology and one of the largest photovoltaic installations in the Middle East. At the city’s core is an innovation engine. With a few thousand people living and working in Masdar City, it is on its way to realising its vision. But this is only the beginning. Masdar City continues to add new businesses, schools, restaurants, apartments and much more, creating the diversity of any major, modern city. A visit in Masdar City takes approximately 60-90 minutes, including the driverless vehicle experience in our personal rapid transit system and a comfortable walk through the city.
Directly connected to Rosewood Abu Dhabi, The Galleria on Al Maryah Island is a luxury shopping and dining destination with a stunning waterfront promenade located in the Abu Dhabi Global Market Square, Abu Dhabi’s international financial center. On the site of the original commercial district and extending across three levels, WTC Souk is a contemporary interpretation of the traditional market in Abu Dhabi. The Al Khalifa Street Bridge, which is lined with restaurants and cafes, conveniently connects the Souk to the Mall at WTC. Abu Dhabi Mall
A shopper’s paradise that offers over 200 shops, Abu Dhabi Mall is one of Abu Dhabi’s most glitzy malls. Big names abound, including Paris Gallery, Caroline Herrera and Zara, selling everything from perfumes and handbags to high street fashion and home décor.
