Rosewood’s butlers have designed a family fun day out at Bang Krachao, one of the largest natural green spaces in metropolitan Bangkok and known as the city’s "green lung," situated on the slower-paced opposite side of the river. Amidst the fresh breezes, parents and children can ride along on electric scooters arranged by their butler or, upon request, partake of yoga and meditation with one of Rosewood Bangkok's resident coaches. Everyone can fuel up for further fun with street food from the small local market stalls on weekends, or enjoy an upscale, authentic picnic prepared by Rosewood Bangkok's culinary team.
 
KANOM THAI CLASS
The hotel’s littlest guests, Rosewood Explorers, have the unique opportunity to learn from master pastry chefs how to prepare the beautifully colored local desserts known as Kanom Thai. With the simple components of flour, sugar and coconut, Rosewood Explorers will be shown how to use newfound skills to create these beautifully detailed desserts. At the end of the class, the young pastry chefs in training can consume their own creations or save to show them off to their family and friends.
 
ELEPHANT PARADE PAINTING
Elephant Parade has become an institution in Thailand to raise awareness of the need of elephant protection. Created by artists and celebrities, Elephant Parade statues are unique art pieces which can be found in many locations across Bangkok. A personal painting session for Rosewood Explorer child guests can be arranged at the hotel, led by an artist to assist younger ones in creating their very own elephant statue masterpieces to take home, while also contributing to this important cause:  20% of all profits are donated to elephant welfare and conservation organizations. 
 
MUAY THAI
The national martial art, Muay Thai, is one of most popular self-defense arts in the world. The discipline, known as "art of the eight limbs," is a total body workout using fists, elbows, knees and shins. The physical art form can be adapted to all levels and ages. The training session for both adults and children includes running, sparring, technical drills and cultural lessons.
 
BANGKOK SCAVENGER HUNT
This is an opportunity to explore Bangkok beneath the surface.  Partnering with the local team at Smiling Albino, the hotel's team intertwined their favourite Bangkok sites with fun activities, from hunting down unique Bangkok-inspired items to experiencing culturally oriented activities. A local expert will roam the city by tuk-tuk with guests, with a surprise around every corner, which can include anything from making a personal flower garland to partaking of local delicacies.
 
FACES OF BANGKOK BY BIKE
This five-hour bicycle and boat tour in collaboration with Co Van Kessel will reveal the different side of Bangkok. The journey begins with exploring bustling Chinatown and continues to serene and hidden green plantations within Bangkok. In between, participants experience the "Venice of the East" by traditional longtail-boat and are fueled by scrumptious Thai dishes.
