You arrive at the resort's exclusive welcome lounge in Caticlan, where a gracious host escorts you to Shangri-La's private speedboat. In less than 30 minutes of cruising along the white beach of Boracay, you will reach the shores of the first and only deluxe resort on the beautiful island.

You observe that the resort’s accommodations are thoughtfully designed with Shangri-La’s hallmark elegance. Nature seems to be the only companion, her bounty fills all senses. Your Seaview Suite is a spacious haven, with beachfront living expressed through indigenous materials, from the Abaca weave rugs to the accent lighting created with local capiz shells. You are close enough to hear the music of the waves.

But it’s not just peace and solitude here. Your session at the tennis court has been booked. Anticipating the thrill of the game, you also noticed the options are plenty. The stunning waters is perfect for any sea activities, from kayaking to parasailing and deep sea diving.

Location

Manila is the capital of the Philippines and also the country's main gateway for international flights with Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

There are two (2) ways to access Boracay Island from Manila (MNL).

Boracay Airport (MPH)
This is the nearest airport to the island. The carriers servicing this airport are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific Air, Air Asia and Skyjet. The hotel provides complimentary land and sea transportation to and from Boracay Airport. Guests are advised to contact the hotel in advance and provide their flight details.   

Kalibo Airport (KLO)
Travellers from Kalibo Airport require a leisurely 1.5-hour transfer by land to reach Caticlan, the jump-off point to access Boracay Island. 
International flights to Kalibo from Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Busan, Taiwan, Shanghai and Beijing are also available.

Arrival and Welcome Lounge
Upon arrival at Boracay Airport, an airport representative will meet you after exiting to assist with luggage and escort you to the designated vehicle. After an approximate five-minute drive, you will arrive at the resort’s exclusive lounge, called Mabuhay Centre, at the Caticlan jetty port.

The resort's staff at the Mabuhay Centre will welcome you with refreshing beverages and cold towels to help you freshen up. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided exclusively for the use of guests.

Speedboat Transfer
From Mabuhay Centre, guests are ushered to a speedboat for an approximate 15-minute ride directly to the resort.

Hotel Limousine
You can arrange your land transfers from the international airport to the domestic airport in Manila by booking a hotel limousine.
