Set on a private reserve and boasting awe-inspiring vistas across the great Serengeti plains, Sasakwa Lodge is a grand hilltop affair which resembles a turn-of-the-century East African ranch house. From infinity swimming pools that appear to float out over the plain, to guided equestrian tours and balloon safaris, the Lodge brings the wonders of the Serengeti up close.
The main single storey building is vast and beautiful – with wide sweeping verandas, stone columns and slate roofs. However, the opulent interiors of the Lodge's nine cottages and single villa are breathtaking with stately ornamental pieces and warm browns echoing the colours of the landscape, while the extensive woodwork is simple, well-crafted, and beautiful to behold.
