Reconnect With Nature: Discover Malolo
From native flora to unique wildlife, wonder awaits your discovery high up in the trees and down under the surface of the crystal blue waters.
Inclusions
Hill Top Trail: a great way to kick start your day is with a leisurely hike up Fiji's Malolo Island. Allow one of the resort's hosts to talk you through the natural flora and fauna of the island along the way and point out surrounding islands and reefs. Take it all in and connect with the beauty of land and water.
Cluckingham Palace Visit: after an active start to the day it’s time to collect some eggs fresh from the coop and take them to the chefs who will whip you up a delicious breakfast.
Drua Experience: jump back in time when you board this traditional sailing boat for a ride to the reef. Here you’ll get in touch with your hunter gatherer side, as you forage for fresh nama (sea-grapes) to take back to the island.
Green Tour: join the resort's organic garden to see the steps that are being taken to source fresh and seasonal produce that’s home grown, not flown in. Whilst you’re there, pick some herbs to be used in your Kokoda lunch dish.
Kokoda Cooking Demonstration and Lunch: take part in an interactive cooking demonstration with one of the Fijian hosts and see how your freshly picked nama and herbs from the garden are used in the traditional Fijian dish of Kokoda.
Silent Meditation: as the sun begins to set, there’s time for some reflection on your day. Leave your shoes at home and join in barefoot, grounding meditation on the beach.
Iguana Spotting: did you know Six Senses Fiji is home to 39 endangered Fijian Crested Iguanas? Come and see the magic for yourself!  As the stars come out, walk with one of the hosts who will point out these friendly fellas relaxing in their natural habitat within the resort.

Arrival Spirit
Feel the Bula spirit as soon as you arrive at Six Senses Fiji, where you will be welcomed with the traditional Fijian Bula Maleya song.  Join in with a big BULA as you reach the hosts and feel their warm embrace to the resort.  En route to your villa stop by the ancient Banyan Baka tree in the center of the resort, where you can set your intention for your stay, whether that be reconnecting, relaxing, reenergizing or all three!

Water Ritual
What they say is true: you haven’t been to Fiji if you haven’t tried kava, so join your hosts in a traditional Fijian kava ceremony to complete your visit to the South Pacific.  An evening social event, the kava ceremony is one of Fiji’s most unique and special traditions.  Take your place in the circle on a woven mat alongside other guests and hosts and learn the rituals of how to receive and drink a coconut shell full of kava, Fiji’s national drink, whilst stories are told and music played long into the night.

Fire Ritual
Engage in a meaningful sunset fire ritual throughout that will help you reconnect with yourself and keep in touch with your intentions for your stay.  As a Fijian warrior leads you to Tovolea Lawn with a traditional Fijian torch share gratitude for the experiences of your day and set your intention for tomorrow before lighting a tiki torch of your own.  Reflect and reconnect as your tiki torch burns into the night.

Departure Ritual
When the time comes for your departure it’s never goodbye, but sota tale (see you later), which is marked with a special ritual to complete the circle of your stay.  During your relaxation period at the jetty, take a moment to reflect on your stay and revisit your intentions set on your arrival: share your gratitude for all you’ve experienced during your time in Fiji.

Under the Sea Conservation
Established in 2015, the Coral Reef Project’s mission is to grow and care for the coral reefs in the local area. This project is run by Vunabaka, Six Senses and Hauraki Adventures. Regular snorkel trips are made to re-plant and maintain the health of the coral and you'll have the chance to see a beautiful coral nursery just off of our beach.
