Fly Into the Nest (Kids' Club)

Children can participate in the daily activities at the kids’ club, Fly Into the Nest. The program, Grow With Six Senses, incorporates all of the dimensions of wellness so kids can reconnect with nature and others around them. They will be immersed in local culture, wellness, sustainability and social experiences, gaining useful life skills through play. Some highlights of the activities include seed planting, traditional Apsara dance, junior Alchemy Bar, Khmer calligraphy, sandcastle making on the beach and many more.

Reconnect With Nature
Reconnect to nature at its best at a 12-hectare private island with dense tropical jungle and rocky coastline surrounded by azure waters of the Gulf of Thailand.
- Forest bathing: a great way to start your day by recognizing that you are not separate from the beauty all-around of it, you are part of it. As you wander, take a deep breath, lift your nose to the sky, listen release phytoncides which have positive effects on your immune system, stress levels and even how well you age!
- Followed by a meditation at the spirit rock to calm your thinking and take time to just be.
- Enjoy a light and healthy breakfast on the beach after the meditation.
- Join a Follow the Wildlife Trail walk with the resort's Sustainability team for a chance to spot a Hornbill, butterfly, Orange tree frog, squirrel and many more.
- Learn more about growing sprouts and vegetables and a healthy cooking class at the Khmer House and enjoy the lunch.
- Explore the wonderful underwater world with a guided snorkeling by our resident Marine Biologist followed by a discussion about the marine ecosystem.

- Join a communal yoga lesson which helps to improve balance, strength, agility, flexibility and tone, while immersion in the sights, sounds, smells and feel of the surrounding nature further stimulates soul and senses

- Take the path less traveled to the Ream Pagoda and enjoy a delightful coastal view. This trip also offers a unique spiritual encounter and first-hand insight into rural Buddhist culture and traditional Cambodian practice, as the resident monks will bestow you with a Buddhist blessing. You will present fruit and flower as offering to the monk
- Continue with a visit to the organic garden where the team grows more than 37 varieties of fruits, herbs and vegetables. Resident chickens and goats keep busy producing fresh eggs and milk for our hosts and guests. You will have a chance to interact with the team from AllKids, an NGO based in the local commune, Ream. Their main objective to enable disadvantaged children to access education. Six Senses Krabey Island support various community programs with AllKids include a school bus program provide transportation between villages, public school and the AllKids Learning Centre, six days per week. Most recently our work with AllKids involved running a four-day Young Entrepreneurs course for high school graduates. Enjoy a light lunch during the tour

Arrival spirit
In Cambodia, there’s an ancient tradition of offering water to the sacred Bodhi tree. This tree is believed for releasing a positive and playful vibes and liberating the negativity inside us. Hence, offering water to the Bodhi tree, will enable you to connect with this island environment and adapt to the positivity nature has to offer to you. As you step from the boat onto the jetty and offering water to the Bodhi tree, set an intention for your stay.
Water ritual
Water is universally recognized to have high significance in our lives and culture, rituals and practices. The Khmer culture embodies the calmness and serenity of water and it is believed to diligently cleanse your body, mind and spirit. Water could react to positive thoughts and words signifying which, you offered water to Bodhi tree during your arrival. Before you begin this fire ritual, it is important to cleanse your body and mind, and cultivate positivity in yourselves to release unhappy memories, fears, and negativity. Have your hands and feet washed and commence the fire ritual with a cleansed body and positive mind.
Fire ritual
Used in many ancient traditions, a fire ceremony can release unhappy memories, fears, negative emotions or anything you are holding onto that you just want to let go. It’s pretty simple. Just use your sixth sense (your intuition) to ask your heart what is not serving you anymore than, using a twig from the forest to represent that emotion, transfer it onto the fire while breathing out. This will release the unwanted energy or emotion. Watch it burn! Then see how you feel over the coming days.
Departure spirit
During departure, you will be provided with rice grains and empty pots. You are invited to use both hands while filling the pot and pray for the well-being of the sentient beings. A local host explains how in Khmer culture, rice is considered sacred and symbolizes prosperity. This accumulated rice will be given to the monks at the Pagoda.


Castaway picnic at Koh Ta Kiev
Be whisked off to a secluded beach on Koh Ta Kiev Island where the resort's chefs have prepared your picnic basket including light meal, dessert and refreshments. Grab your snorkeling gear to explore the surrounding lagoon, or simply relax on comfortable sun loungers on the beach. This is a memorable experience for families or a romantic getaway for couples. 


Go Ta Kiev! Island Jungle Walk at Koh Ta Kiev
Head out to sea across to neighboring Koh Ta Kiev Island for an early morning walk through the lush tropical jungle. Enjoy a scenic view at the Elephant Rock before heading down to one of the white sand beaches for a relaxing swim in the clear azure waters. You will return to the resort in time for a hearty breakfast.


Sunset Cruise
This is the most peaceful and romantic two hours, where you are taken on a leisurely cruise by motorboat past the scenic neighboring islands of Koh Ta Kiev, Koh Russey and Koh Chanloh.


Islands Exploration
If you're finding yourself gazing out to sea beyond Six Senses Krabey Island, why not travel across to Koh Rong Sanloem, where you can explore and stroll local shops, and to Koh Rong mainland which is a famous tourist destination for local and student travellers? The journey finishes with a picnic, swimming and snorkeling at Sok San Beach on the western side of Koh Rong Island.

Hop over to the organic garden located on the mainland. The resort's team grows more than 37 varieties of fruits, herbs and vegetables. There is also a chicken coop and goat house for home-produced eggs and milk. While you’re there, you can learn from the Sustainability team about composting, seed germination, natural liquid fertilizer and charcoal production. The Spice Trail
The region of Kampot is famed for its pepper. The mineral-rich soil and high-elevation areas near Kampot and Kep are perfect for its production. A road trip will take you past bright green rice fields and wooden houses on stilts before driving along the sleepy banks of the Brateak Krola Lake, part of a protected wildlife reserve. Tour one of the area’s most famous plantations, La Plantation, and enjoy an authentic pepper-infused Khmer lunch overlooking the farm and the Bokor Mountain Range in the background. On the way back, stop by the city of Kampot and take a stroll or drive through the old market and town, infused with old-world French colonial charm.


Night plankton swimming
It’s an evening experience on the beaches of Koh Ta Kiev unlike any other. The island has beautiful white beaches and blue waters, but when night falls, a truly magical event takes place. Hundreds of tiny bioluminescent phytoplankton rise in the warm water and are a scintillating sight like a starry sky as you move through them. It’s an intimate opportunity to experience this breathtaking natural wonder for yourself with an evening snorkel that allows you to swim through these shining microscopic organisms. Note: this activity depends on the moon phase. The Experience team can recommend the best time.


Drinks Adrift
Enjoy a weekly group sunset cruise on a traditional wooden boat with other fellow guests and capture a spectacular sunset over the Gulf of Thailand.


Into Watersports
Enjoy a range of non-motorized water sports activities down at the main beach. You can snorkel around the house coral reef teeming with colourful fish. Use a stand-up paddleboard for an excellent core workout and a great way to experience the island’s marine life from a different viewpoint.


Sustainability Tour
The tour begins at the Earth Lab, which showcases the resort’s sustainability efforts to reduce consumption, produce locally and support communities and ecosystems. It also displays scientific, yet practical facts and figures, raising awareness and sharing information to persuade people to modify their daily behavior and incorporate more sustainable practices. You are welcome to join tours of the mushroom hut, crystal water room and solar panels. You’ll also learn how the resort tries to conserve energy in the villas through a sophisticated digital control pad, green living roofs for water irrigation and a natural cooling system. This activity is led by the Six Senses’ host.

Bird and Butterfly Trail (Nature Discovery Walk)
Nestled in 12 hectares of lush tropical forest, Krabey Island offers a wealth of biodiversity and the chance to commune with nature on a guided walk that connects guests with the extraordinary flora and fauna of the island. Despite its small size, Krabey Island is home to more than 25 different plant species, 6 species of frogs and 20 varieties of birds. Native to the island is the widely celebrated Oriental Pied Hornbill. With 35 of the 46 species of Cambodia’s butterflies already spotted on the island, guests with sharp eyes may just help to discover the rest. This activity is led by Six Senses Sustainability Manager, who can share an in-depth knowledge of the island’s biodiversity.


Khmer Cooking Class
Discover the secrets behind cooking Khmer using fresh organic herbs and ingredients. While also making use of lemongrass, ginger and turmeric, Khmer dishes tend to be more subtle in flavor than those of their more well-known Thai neighbours. The chefs will share their expert knowledge and time-honored techniques. 


Boardwalk Dining – Signature dining experiences
Enjoy a private dinner on the boardwalk with the Gulf of Thailand as a backdrop. The Six Senses principle of ‘destination dining’ is based around blending romance with the natural environment, providing you with the opportunity to experience dining in the most unique places. "Flying High" with Aerial Yoga
Fly high with this yoga practice, which combines stretching, breathing and meditation with gymnastics and aerial arts. A hammock, made of a soft and supple parachute-silk fabric, is suspended from the ceiling and is used to support the body’s weight during a sequence of postures. The resident yogi will help you fine-tune your body’s balance and alignment.


Mindfulness in the Meditation Cave
Find your inner peace in the island’s own uniquely-designed meditation cave. Inspired by the meditation caves of Hindu and Buddhist yogi masters of lore, this is a place to practice bringing awareness to what you are doing in any given moment. Meditation is a proven method for calming your thinking and has been shown to alleviate stress and encourage joy in daily living.


Fast Track to Wellness with Six Senses Integrated Wellness Detox, Fitness and Sleep program
Integrated Wellness is an innovative approach to wellness that provides the best base possible to help everyone flourish, in tune with their natural flow. The journey begins with a non-invasive wellness screening consultation which analyzes key physiological biomarkers that offer guidelines for a wellness roadmap. Based on the results, guests progress along their personal path through themes such as Detox, Sleep and Fitness. The wellness program is available from just 3 days up to 10 days. Jungle Gym
Connect with your natural surroundings as you exercise through four unique stations around some of the island’s most scenic vantage points. Just look out for the sign posts as you follow the trail.
