Insight: it is here where "God Bless America" by Irving Berlin and "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" by Albert Von Tilzer were written.

NYC’s Flower Market
The Flower District is located on West 28th Street between 6th and 7th Avenues and it stands as one of the most striking blocks in all of Manhattan. Madison Square Park
Opened on May 10, 1847 and was named after President James Madison. The original Madison Square Garden was located adjacent to the park, hence the name of Madison Square Garden Borders 26th Street to 23rd Street and 5th Avenue to Madison Avenue

The Appellate Court
Located at 27 Madison Avenue and 25th Street. In NYC everyone is welcome to enter any court during business hours. Although not a tourist attraction (no tickets are handed), this building is most well known for the unique blending of art and architecture, a major principle of the Beaux Arts movement. On the outside, there are about 30 figures by 16 sculptors, the most sculptors to work on a single building in the United States. On the inside, ten famous artists created murals for the main hall and the courtroom. The courtroom has a stained glass dome set into the gilded coffered ceiling. Please, be respectful during court proceedings by not talking and not arriving in large groups. You can spend 20-30 minutes admiring the inside and listening to a real case being appealed.

Museums and Art
Chelsea is the hub for all galleries in New York City. Some are: Gagosian Gallery (they have another one on Madison Avenue), Gladstone Gallery, Marianne Boesky, Tanya Bonakdar Gallery, Luhring Augustine just to name a few.

The Morgan Library
A museum and independent research library located in the heart of New York City, the Morgan Library & Museum began as the personal library of financier, collector, and cultural benefactor J. Pierpont Morgan. As early as 1890 Morgan had begun to assemble a collection of illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books, and old master drawings and prints. Local insight: they hold different events ranging from classical music performances to readings.
