Summary

The Upper House opened in October 2009 and is testament to the talents of its designer, Andre Fu, who is one of the most sought-after talents in the Asia Pacific region.

He has successfully created a small, intimate hotel, reminiscent of a private residence with an ambience of tranquillity throughout. The concept of “new luxury” transcends this haven of calm and quiet taste. Intriguing spaces, natural materials and subtle yet playful lighting take guests on a voyage of discovery.

A series of unique artworks are displayed throughout the hotel, from individual bronze, marble and ceramic sculptures in each guestroom to the impressive ten-storey water feature housed in the atrium.

This home-away-from-home offers intuitive and professional levels of service and strives to be as environmentally responsible as possible through paper-free check-in and departure and energy-saving hybrid cars to transport guests.

Location

The Upper House is approximately 22 miles (35 km) from Hong Kong International Airport (HKG).
