Experiences:

Julie Eugène, Art Concierge
Philippe Starck came up with the idea of the Art Concierge to advise guests and keep them updated on art and culture. This is the first time a Paris luxury hotel has offered art lovers – whether or not they’re staying at the hotel – a curated selection of contemporary Parisian art and culture, from exhibitions in the hotel’s own contemporary art gallery to private viewings of art shows, museums and private collections, invitations to previews, openings, performances and concerts, or even guitar lessons and cultural activities for children.

“Art District”: the contemporary art gallery
Acting as a gateway to the contemporary art scene in Paris, the culturally-conscious Art District welcomes artists, connoisseurs and collectors, patrons and art professionals. It plays host to original exhibitions such as retrospectives, exclusive shows, and viewings of collections by a variety of artists.

La Librairie des Arts
Keeping pace with the latest happenings on the cultural and arts circuits worldwide, this specialist emporium holds more than 700 titles and sells accoutrements for artists and architects alongside limited editions and works of unusual formats. La Librairie des Arts is a magnet for art lovers, who are attracted as much for the serendipitous encounters as for its selection of art and design publications that come hot off the press.

Katara Cinema
The Katara Cinema is a private 99-seat screening room fitted with the latest technology (digital cinema, 2D, 3D). And for local film buffs, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris runs its own Royal Monceau Film Club. Every Sunday at 6 pm, enjoy a deluxe screening to wrap up the weekend on a glamorous and cultural note! The ultimate treat: sit back in your comfortable leather seat, sip a glass of champagne, and savour the house’s Pierre Hermé Paris caramelised popcorn while taking in some great cinema classics.

restaurant

Matsuhisa Paris:

This is Japanese Chef Nobu's first restaurant in France, and it was worth the wait! A wonderful dining experience in a city-centre venue that attracts the hippest crowd. Under the expert eye of chef Hideki Endo and his team of sushi masters, Matsuhisa Paris brings a highly contemporary vision of Japanese cuisine: a gastronomic encounter between Asia and Latin America, two cultures for which Nobu himself has great fondness.

The extensive and imaginative menu offers a unique Peruvian-Japanese culinary experience, with an array of Nobu’s legendary signature dishes including Albacore tuna sashimi with jalapeño peppers, black cod with miso, and tacos, as well as traditional sushi.

Il Carpaccio:

Il Carpaccio is an Italian gourmet restaurant with one Michelin Star (2017) serving haute cuisine in a relaxed setting. Its mouth-watering and sophisticated dishes are concocted from the freshest seasonal products according to tasty and traditional regional recipes from all around Italy.

The one and only Pierre Hermé pastry chef, who has also been dubbed the “Picasso of Pastry”, brings his magical and initimable touch to many of Italy’s most wonderful desserts, and the outstanding sommelier takes great pleasure in sharing his passion for the vast array of delectable Italian wines.

The intimate dining room draws on a Sicilian baroque style with an extravagant shell decor on the walls, opening onto a lovely glass conservatory drenched in light. Two contemporary artists have created unique works of art that add to the Italian theme.

La Cuisine:

La Cuisine restaurant welcomes you for breakfast and an outstanding weekend brunch with a buffet offering a multitude of flavours. Fresh ingredients are carefully selected every morning thus only the best is served to guests: Pierre Hermé pastries, organic eggs cooked to order, muesli bar, breads from the award-winning Frédéric Lalos bakery, organic teas and botanical infusions, freshly-squeezed fruit juice, gluten-free options, and an array of non-dairy milk alternatives: from coconut and almond to rice and soya.

Every Saturday, enjoy a leisurely brunch while your children are kept busy with fun creative activities hosted by Les Ateliers de Macha (4 years old and above). On Sundays the brunch is even more varied with a seafood buffet, a sushi bar, and a Pierre Hermé live cooking station.

bar

Le Bar Long:

Elegant and convivial, the Bar Long restaurant offers the best of reinvented traditional Palace dishes. Its ordered, rigorous architectural lines are offset with large white linen curtains, idiosyncratic knick-knacks, fabulous artworks and a striking array of lamps and light fittings. In this unique setting, staff will serve you a selection of some of the greatest Palace classics carefully reinvented by the Chef.

Viñales Lounge:

Become a member of a unique private club at Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, an exclusive lounge where you can share a fine cigar and sample the finest spirits. The Viñales Lounge cigar club offers a refined yet cosy atmosphere where its members enjoy a host of benefits within this palace hotel.

Terrace Garden:

One of the defining features of Le Royal Monceau – Raffles’ identity, this oasis of greenery is shared by Le Bar Long hotel cocktail bar and the restaurants, Matsuhisa Paris, La Cuisine, and Il Carpaccio, 1 Michelin star italian restaurant. The garden is a living space that constantly changes as the days and seasons go by. A pool of water makes a magnetic centrepiece and within its clear depths, the shifting waters in the swimming pool of the Spa can be seen below. The Terrace Garden is open all day and every evening in warm weather. The bar and restaurants accept reservations for lunch or dinner in the Terrace Garden, and tables are allocated according to availability when you arrive.

Here, guests exclusively enjoy the groundbreaking new concept My Blend by Clarins spa, devised by Dr Olivier Courtin-Clarins. This unique range of treatments was developed so skincare can be tailored to each individual’s specific needs, depending on their age and skin type.
