Opera Court - afternoon-tea

Once the lobby area of the Dresdner Bank, traditional English Afternoon Tea is served every day beneath the marble columns and gilt-edged skylights. Bebel Suite

The spacious Bebel Suite is the hotel's largest suite and provides 200 sqm of truly grand comfort.

With a 3,20m ceiling height, hardwood flooring and the layout relating to the concept of the typical Berlin flat from the turn of the century with an 'enfilade' of rooms, the suite is in keeping with the style and gravitas of the building and the city. Situated on the third floor with an imposing balcony overlooking the historic Bebelplatz that extends the full 25m width of the suite, offering a unique entertaining space in summer which can be accessed from all rooms.

On entering the suite there is a study area with a work desk overlooking the terrace with its cherry trees. To the right is a large vibrant salon in a contemporary style with its own extensive library of more than 1.000 books, a 65 inch flat TV, a Samsung soundbar with virtual surround system, and an eclectic mix of furniture and objects. The black and white monochrome palette of the suite is accentuated with bold primary colours, citron, crimson, and burnt umber, reflecting on Berlin with its strong, powerful vibe.

The living room leads onto the large bedroom with walk in closet and a beautiful marble bathroom with two sinks and a central mosaic art work. To the left of the study area, where a second bathroom with shower is located, is the large dining room with vivid geometric wall coverings, perfect for family dinners or board meetings. The fully equipped pantry has a separate service entrance.

The Bebel Suite can be connected with up to 3 additional bedrooms (308, 310, 311) and one junior suite (309) forming a separate "suite floor" with a total of 5 bedrooms on 450sqm. Guests in this suite are provided with top-class security arrangements, including bullet-proof glazing and a video access monitoring system.
