Joel de Sousa is the Director of Sales at Conrad Algarve in Quinta do Lago.

What is the top highlight of your hotel?

Definetly we can highlight the outstanding Roof Garden Suite with 300 sq. metres inside and 180 sq. metres terrace, indoor swimming pool, with retractable roof top, private spa and muc more.

What unique activity can your hotel organize for its guests?
I definetly recommend either the Clam Picking with our Executive Chef in the beatifull Ria Formosa Natural Park, or the Cork Route.

Can you tell us your favourite dish at the hotel?
That is not an easy one! Either the Fragotelli Carbonara in Gusto Restaurant, a signature dish of Heinz Beck, or the Seafood Cataplana in Louro Restaurant. I also love the grilled fish in Dado Restaurant.

What is your favourite town on the Algarve Coast?
Tavira, just 30 min. from the hotel! You can really feel the true Portugal, in the middle of the Ria Formosa, a Natural Park where we are also close by.

What is the top Portuguese souvenir/gift that travellers should buy?
A mini Cataplana, our typical sweets made of almonds, figs and eggs, or any item made of cork.
