Four Seasons Resorts Maldives: Through the Eyes of a 10-Year Old

Aaron is my 10-year old son who travels with us a lot. He has written the following review about his own experience at the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.

"I was so excited when I arrived at Male airport. It was nice, hot and humid. We took a speedboat from the airport to the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa, the view of the line of foamy water which the boat made when going fast was epic! When we arrived, the hotel staff gave us a huge welcoming and showed us to our Sunset beach bungalow with plunge pool. The bedroom had a huge bed for my parents and in the evening the sofa was converted into a lovely bed for me. The restaurants were lovely and the scenery was beautiful, I tried all types of seafood, it was fantastic. After dinner we would go to the Sunset lounge where they served all types of drinks and of course mocktails and from there we watched the lemon sharks swimming in the water below the jetty.

When we had to leave, all the staff were really nice to us and wished us luck! We had to get a seaplane to Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru; I felt like James Bond! When we arrived we also got a lovely welcoming, they gave us a coconut drink which was inside a coconut!. When they took us to our beach villa I felt like I was in heaven! They had lovely soft beds and a glamorous tree-house and a rectangular pool. Also to get around the island we had our own bikes which was cool. Always after dinner we would go to the over water Seabar where we would watch a staff member feed the lemon sharks and stingrays.

Sometimes Manta rays would swim not far from the Island (20 minutes away). After a short boat trip I got to swim with the giant manta rays, one of them actually touched me! At the hotel there was a Kids Club which was great as I was able to meet other children of my own age. The club had daily activities and if you wanted you could have lunch there as well. I joined in some of the days, otherwise I would go snorkelling with my Mum & Dad where we saw all types of wonderful fish and even some lemon sharks.

Overall the Kuda Huraa and Landaa Giraavaru are two of the best places I've been to in my life."
