From January, Mayfair’s Brown’s Hotel will offer an exclusive nourishing afternoon tea in partnership with Madeleine Shaw, who is the nutritional health coach, yoga teacher and bestselling author of ‘Get The Glow. Brown’s Hotel is known globally for its exquisite afternoon tea, and this is the newest adaptation of the classic.
Following the success of Madeleine’s Nourish menu for the Rocco Forte Hotel Group, enabling guests to keep wellbeing front of mind whilst travelling, the new TeaTox menu will be exclusive to the London property, and is inspired by recipes from Madeleine's latest book, 'Ready Steady Glow'. Served in the beautiful surroundings of The English Tea Room, the menu will feature both savoury and sweet guilt-free creations with a champagne option, to go alongside a choice of teas. Tea options from Jing include an uplifting Gong Fu Black Tea, Silver Needle White Tea and the signature Brown’s blend as part of its extensive selection. The Tea-Tox delivers the same sense of indulgence and tradition that is associated with taking traditional Afternoon Tea with nutritious treats including Spinach Bread with Miso Glazed Salmon and Radish; and Beetroot Crepe with Hummus, Rocket and Avocado followed by raw White Chocolate and Raspberry Cheesecakes and gluten free Raspberry and Pistachio Brownies.
This union with Madeleine Shaw is integral to the hotel’s wellness mission as it continues to recognise and support the importance of wellbeing to its guests and visitors.
